Very cool @1959! I've always been kind of a geek about unis/helmets. Here's a graphic I helped put together for Cov Cath/Highlands week with the history of the football helmets during the span of their rivalry series. It includes all of the helmets in Cov Cath's football program history, with the exception of their very first helmet, since Cov Cath didn't play Highlands their first year of varsity football (1967). That season they had all-white helmets with a royal blue stripe down the center.

I've been told their QB from last year has also transferred across the river to Charlestown High School, so that means they're in need of a QB as well. -
I just bought a couple of pints of it for the tomatoes that are getting ready to pop out in my garden....and my wife game me her usual "Oh gross!" rant because she hates cottage cheese and fresh tomatoes, both. And it's DEFINITELY gotta have pepper on it - preferably fresh cracked black tellicherry pepper.

At this time, since Rule #9 prohibits discussion of ANY criminal behavior (charged or uncharged) in the high school forums, please refer all discussion of former Manual head coach Donnie Stoner to this thread, in the Controversial Issues forum. -

Yessir. He used to be a good bit heavier in the 1970s. That's Mark Brueggemann that Coach Hobbs was "tuning up" in the picture. -

Kinda missed the boat on this one. Announcement was made back in mid-April about a month after the job came open. Coach Roberts was previously the head coach at Hancock County for 2012-13 season and 2013-14 season. The Hornets were 11th District champs in 2013-14. Congratulation and good luck to Coach Roberts and the Hornets!

Mulling is now listed as head boys basketball coach for the Cougars on the KHSAA Directory. I don't have much background, but I know he was involved with the team during his son Ethan's time at Calvary Christian. Ethan graduated this past may after committing to play basketball at Thomas More University.

I believe what @NEERFAN was saying is that Coach Rash was an assistant at Simon Kenton while Ben Nevels was playing there....and it was implied that Coach Rash and Coach Nevels developed a relationship at that time, which led to Coach Rash now helping Coach Nevels at Holmes since retiring as head coach at Beechwood.
