No one can stop Moss. It doesn't matter what you do, she is just a beast. I look for Boone to struggle early but finish strong with another regional championship over Ryle. Ryle is the only team I feel that can contend. But Ryle coach can't beat Nell no matter what. Nell is the best coach I've scene.

Boone has great players on this years team. Guard play and coaching will be the problem. The coach at Boone never seems to get the job done. I feel like Coach Fookes can make an average team with little talent into a regional championship team. Mcquery on the other hand is given some of the best players year in and year out and always manages to fall short of what they should be accomplishing. If Boone tries to run the coaches plays every possession instead of just playing the game they will be beat and beat often. If he lets the boys play to there ability they will win the regional championship. This team is good. This years group of seniors won the freshman title and the past two Jv titles.

The biggest problem at Boone is coaching. And second, his son playing Qb. His son has no talent at that position whatsoever. Boone had two of the best athletes in NKY this season in Jordan Oppenheimer and Trevan Brown. They failed to use Trevan at all. I'm quite sure he had less than 10 catches this past season. An athlete like that should get targeted 10 times a game. Oppenheimer didn't have the chance to use the talents he has. Every team knew Boone was no threat to throw the ball so they put 8 in the box and shut him down. Another problem is there scheduling. They played the best 5A school Highlands, Ryle (who beat Highlands), Henry Clay, Scott County (in the semi finals now), Anderson (an Ohio school that no team from NKY can beat), and Simon Kenton who has been on the uprise. Boone started the season off great with two huge wins. But when you have to play Anderson, then Highlands and get smacked it brings down the players confidence. I believe the scheduling for next season is being done by one of the assistant coaches instead of Thompson. I believe Thomspon will be there next year but after another disappointing year he will and should be gone. I believe the schedule for next year has Cov Cath, Cooper, Conner, on the non-district schedule. Not sure about the other two.

Sk fans, please stop crying about everything you can think of. You lost, that's the bottom line. Quit saying it was the noise, or disrespect, or t-shirts. Who cares. All that matters is the 11 guys on the field for each team. You cant sit there and tell me Sk fans and players didn't do anything wrong. Its high school students what do you expect? Should there be disrespect, or do I agree with may or may not have taken place? No. But both teams were wrong in some way. Ryle won, not once. Twice they beat the powerhouse Simon Kenton. Good luck next year!!

Ryle has an amazing team. Great Db's with #24. He's a stud. They will need to play mistake free football, and the defense has to step up big. I'm going to take Trinity in this one, but I predict Ryle will give them a great game. I also think Ryle will be leading at the half.

There were only 2 one loss teams that did not make the playoffs in Ohio. There were plenty of 3, 4 and a couple of 5 loss teams that made it over 2 loss teams. I like Ohio's football playoff system, you get rewarded for playing the harder schedule. But I like Ky's basketball tournament better.

And what happened when you made it further? You got smacked by Trinity or X. Let me know when you win or even make it to a state championship (like Ryle did) then we will talk

Ockerman 8th grade beat Beechwood 49-27. Borkowski and Mayberry had great games and Stockwell played great under the hoop.

Ryle all the way! They will beat Sk in a close game. 35-24. Then Lawrence graduates and Sk is back to playing there joke of a schedule and back to the 5-5 4-6 records as before.

Stanley's injury is a torn meniscus, still not sure if it is season ending though. Without him they still will not lose more than 5 games. They need to watch out for Holmes and Highlands. Not sure about anyone else.

Not sure if this game really matters for Sk. They will get beat bad by Ryle next week if they advance. If Clay wins I look for them to take down Ryle next week and give Trinity a good game.
