Eyes and Ears

This should be an exciting game. If both teams play to their potential, I am going with Boone by 5 or 6. It would not surprise me one bit to see just one of them bring an "A" game and really put a woopin on the other. Could be dunks on both ends.

Montgomery is an excellent athlete. I thought he should had seen the floor more last season, but that is the past. He will continue to contribute greatly. I expect to see a huge game out of him tonight against Conner.

I don't know if Tate helps in this game. It looks like Ryle may need soem help in the guard position.

I agree 100%. Somone else needs to step up. Ryle will need better play out of Stinson or Perkins IMO.

No Pike? Was he shut out or did he not play?

I would say that guy is Vollet.

I saw him play against Dixie and I wasn't overly impressed. I did not get to see the SK game. I guess we will see how he handles Boone County on Friday night.

I agree that Pike is very dominant in the paint, but if you went to him every possesion teams will eventually catch on and you have not developed a good team chemistry. Dixie has good guards that can shoot. They will utilize Pike in the Paint, but the guards have to got to open the post up for him. Dixie wil lbe fine this year.

Box score has Robinson with 15 and Hodges with 12. I had a friend at the game that said Hodges had a very nice dunk durring a Conner run in the fourth.

I'm going to agree and go with Conner. Their size will be way too much for the Neers.

Against Dixie, Conner had the entire JV sit on the bench.

Did anyone happen to catch the Conner / Cooper game on Friday? I am really pulling for Coach Sullivan and his guys this year.

Ryle has a pretty niceteam this year and should be in the top three in the region next year talent wise.

I would have to imagine that would have made the Creek one of the front runner's for the state title. Not saying they already aren't.

Was at the game. The kick appeared to be inadvertant as the Conner player went in after the ball. It almost looked as if he lost his footing. Again, I agree. It happened really quick. None-the-less, this was a dagger for the Cougars.

Vollet put in some serious minutes for Ryle. I was really impressed with Cotton and Montgomery tonight. I was expecting to see Gabbard do more.

Surprisingly Ryle lost Stauffer early in this one to an ankle sprain. Maybe early second quarter.

Boone would have to completely self destruct not to make it out of districts this year.

I agree with you 100% here. I have seen both play on several occasions. While I like Zollo and have for a couple of years, I think the ceiling on Setty may be higher and he is approaching it.
