Tough one for the Colonels right out of the gate. I think the Colonels will have trouble stopping the Knights, but I don't see the knights stopping the Colonels. If Whitley takes care of the ball they will win this one 33-20:jump:

So who would step in and coach the jumpers this year? I would like to see Max Messomore step up and guide the jumpers this year, he has coached all them boys in the past and has done a darn good job.:ylsuper:

I don't believe the Johnson Central scrimage is going to happen, thats a shame because now the Colonels will be heading to Lexington Catholic with out being feild tested. Would have loved to watch Whitley and Johnson Central get it on. Maybe they will meet in the play offs.

Should have some nice receivers coming back also. Did Pettit graduate or does he have another year? Brown, Lowrie, and Barton should have a big year.

I did not know that, I quess it will be the Inman boy.

A player I would have to throw into the mix would be Whitley County's Alex Patrick. He has worked extremly hard in the weight room, I believe this will be his breakout season. Go Colonels!!!

Whitley should have a few boys be able to contribute next year on the varsity level, they had a very good 8th grade team(probably the most physical Middle school team I have ever watched) last season. You have the set of twins that are beast. The Sizemore boy will be there if Lebanion goes down. Also you have the fullback Jackson who is going to be something too watch. So I think Whitley will be in good shape for the next few years. :banana::banana::ylsuper:

I would say that Cody Jones will be the toughest one to replace. Not taking anything away from Powers but Jones was a factor on both sides of the ball. As far as incoming freshman there should be a slew of them, they had a very tough eighth grade team last year.

I could see retiring the old cannon, but what about getiing a smaller and saver cannon to carry on the tradition.

Let's get back on the subject. What does the colonels have coming back next year. Loosing nine seniors will be hard to replace.
