Shelby is by far the best in the region at this time. After that you can take any of these teams and make a top 10 list in any order.

I agree, education comes first. Most districts allow for sports teams to practice later in the day once the road crews have "cared" to the road ways. Most of the time it is the Director of Transportation that makes the call on games if they are away. Usually home games will be played if the other team is able to make it.

Montgomery County is better than 8th in the region. I might even put then in the top 5. They are very underrated.

As already mentioned earlier, Shelby wins a close game and shows that the 8th region is not as weak this year as people say. I'd like to see a event in place that different regions challenge one another similar to that of the ACC/ Big East.

GRC by 35 + with their JV playing entire second half.

Most of the time the host team or corporation of events like this will give each team travel money, hotel rooms, and meals. Most of that is able to be done because of sponsors of the event.

In Warsaw Gallatin has less fouls called on them. Heard that in the Trimble game They shoot 41 free throws to Trimble's 0 in the first half. Gallatin is a well coached team. No shot at the coach or team just that win Gallatin is allowed to grab and hold ball handlers at Home. Do you see this all over the state (not just the 8th)? Yes, a home team usually gets an advantage someway or how.

It'll be a good game. WV by 8-10 with Gallatin getting into foul trouble due to the hand checks being called away from Warsaw.

This game will be closer than 20+. Trimble has 3 or 4 younger guards that have dealt with Gallatin's pressure for awhile now. It'll be a 7 or 8 point win for Gallatin. Should be a good game!

Good road test for GRC. They walk away with a good win.

It's hard to beat Gallatin at home. GC will this one by 10 or more. Eminence will be a good team before the year is over but I do not think they'll be able to handle the pressure they'll see tonight.

Trinity is a very good team and so is Scott County. I would not consider this an upset simply because its a scrimmage. Had this been a regular season game I would not say this is a upset either. These two teams match up well with one another having seen both of them play during the summer.

I agree there are more solid players left of list. There are people like Casey Alsop from Scott County, Donte Smith (SP) from Oldham County, AJ Slaughter (SP) from Shelby County to name a couple more.
