Many of us got back very late. Give us more than a few hours to post. :lol: There's not that many of us, anyway.

 

I was very impressed with the Wildcats, though not suprised. I can't remember the last year that Coach Jones didn't have his team prepared. You might think that with the loss of Maddox to graduation or the lack of height that this might be a down year. You'd be mistaken. The Wildcats will have a very good...or better...season.

 

The Raiders need to get things together. All of the pieces are there to play competitively with GC, but we certainly didn't show that tonight. I did see some good...and suprising....things out of a few that I hadn't expected, so I'll take that as a positive and move on to the next game.

Our team is a young team. If you remember we lost all five starters last year. To lose to a veteran team by 29 points is nothing to be ashamed of. I'm proud of our boys for the effort and the "class" they show, even while losing.

Any stats on the game?

Gallatin is very deep and athletic. Their quality depth allows them to play at a pace and intensity that some of the other A schools are not accustomed to. It will take a very physical team with good guard play to knock off Gallatin.I am looking forward to their matchup with Anderson. Gallatin returns everyone except Maddox who was limited due to injury last year. They also added 2 quality players. All of this benefits Gallatin early on.
