The Raiders knock off the home team in the NAS tournament.

 

Trimble Co was led by junior Trent Green with 28 points and junior Justin Webb with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

I enjoyed watching Trimble County play tonight. Trent Green is one heck of a player, as well as Justin Webb. The thing I loved most about Trimble County tonight is their unselfish play. The Raiders played as a team tonight and that is what it takes to win ball games. Great job Coach Lauster and Raiders! Best of luck against Shawe (Ind.) tomorrow! :thumb:

 

As for Carroll County, they need to play as a team. It is very evident that they do not. #20 (DC Craig) played well tonight in my opinion as well as #11 (Andy Sisenstein). In the fourth quarter, Craig seemed to be the one that was hitting the shots but suddenly, he was not getting the ball anymore. In my days of playing basketball, you give the ball to the guy with the hot hand no matter who it was. Watching this game, you could tell that was not the case. Too many 3's were taken in this game by Carroll County. As I said in an earlier post, they cannot live and die by the 3 point shot. The Panthers really need to work on their defense as well. I did not see much defense being played at all tonight. I really hope the Panthers come together as one, play as one, and be a team. I hope to see a better outcome from tomorrows game! Good analysis. I, too, enjoyed the unselfishness of the Raiders, in addition to the good defensive effort. As an example, even though Green scored 28 points, his greater contribution was the defense that he played on Yager.

 

I like CC and want to see them be successful. I agree that they need to find the guy with the hot hand and capitalize on it. DC Craig can be a strong inside force, but he got little chance to show it tonight. As you said, you live and die by the three. It kept them going in the first half, but they should have been dishing it inside in the 2nd half when the shots weren't falling.

Trimble County is a much improved team. If they can get their guards more involved it will make a huge difference for them. Webb and Green have been consistent all season but we need a couple of more players to step up. These are a great group of kids. :thumb::thumb:

How did Carroll County do today against St.Henry?

They lost to St. Henry by 12 I believe. They kept the game close the entire game but fell apart at the end.
