Who the heck cares. The young man is going for a school record. Beechwood needs to get their act together and get a team that can compete. CCH could have beaten them way way worse but didn't. All this junk about running up the score is a joke. It's a shame CCH even has to play Beechwood, because of the same district demands. Otherwise CCH would not have to bother with them. Could play a more competitive team and get something out of it. Such a mismatch is actually sad. CCH JV team could have beaten Beechwood. GET BETTER is the answer.

Very impressive for Nick to have accomplished this in three years. I can remember Andy Listerman getting varsity minutes and points as a freshman.

All this talk about games being played at bigger gyms is crazy. Anybody that has ever been to a game at Cov Cath knows there is nothing like it. The game with New Cath got cancelled, stuff happens. Does not happen enough to take the game away from the school. Bank of Kentucky is a horrible site to watch a high school game. Seems the only games that get sold out are the Cov Cath games, cch vs holmes, cch vs nch. New Cath vs Brossart I heard. Seems like CCH are the most attended games, whoever they play or wherever they play. Very sad that most all schools in NKY get poor attendance. Cov Cath is fine packing their gym and getting the money from a sellout. If you want to see Cov Cath just have to get their early. CCH PLEASE do not ever play any of your games on any other floor or in any other gym but yours. Nothing like it. No other place in Northern Ky like it, lets keep it that way.

When does the wrestling season start and finish?

I heard Cov Cath is possibly starting a wrestling program. I see where Highlands has no program and does quite well on the gridiron without one. Does having a wrestling program benefit the football program for those kids participating in both? Have there been outstanding football players that may have wrestled?

GURU 10 times played - LaSalle 9, CCH 1 I was there last night and honestly the level of talent is a huge difference. CCH tried but looked all out of sorts throughout. LaSalle was bigger, stronger, faster at every position. Their football over there is just a bit higher than what Cov Cath is used to in Ky.

They destroyed Colerain last night. They destroyed Winton Woods the night before. They lost to Saint X (Cincy) by 3. They looked a little tired. They just finished off Winton Woods then had to play a rested saint X . I think they play saint x again tonight since they are the only two teams with 1 loss. Everyone in the gym was impressed how well Ruthsatz plays both ends of the floor. Reminds me of Kevin Listermans game but much better all around than Kevin. Who by the way was coaching Colerain last night and was not a happy camper getting destroyed by his alma mater. Other notables - Schuh shows signs of a real solid player in all aspects. Great attitude. The sky is the limit. Tobler is an animal. Plays against bigger guys all day and just flat out produces. Uses both hands and either gets fouled or scores inside the paint. Shultz gives them good minutes. Knows his role and is solid. Parker Keller just keeps coming at you. Hustles his tail off. Gives starting guards a break and flat out defends.

Move it to the high schools. This is a no brainer after reading the costs. The food is way over priced. There are a million workers just walking around the park doing nothing. What are the positives? uh, let me see, OH YEA - there are seats with backs. When and who makes these decisions for next year?? Please give it back to the high schools. Sorry Clint, you will have to use other means of marketing to show off your park. Thanks

Your in depth knowledge of baseball? You happen to know their family? I saw big time talent on Ryle, Connor, Dixie, New Cath, Cooper. I am a huge Cov Cath fan and graduate. I respect your opinion but I dont see all this talent everyone refers to.

I still dont get all the comments I read about "all the talent they have". This years team had no superstars. What they had were Seniors who worked their tails off for a few years, that makes a difference. The last superstar they had was Luke Maile. Since then and way before Luke they are and were just another NKY team. It's this site that somehow determines who is talented and who is not. Again, the comments about "all that talent" cracks me up. How does one make a comment about all that talent? They saw them in knothole, they know their Dad, Oh they are at CCH they must be good. There were kids starting for CCH this year that would not have started for many NKY teams this. Their fielding and base running blunders recently show that. But thats ok. They are bunch of kids having fun while getting a great education.

There needs to be no change and there wont be any changes. PERIOD Baseball and all other sports are an extracurricular activity. The guy does a great job in the classroom and is a staple of what we stand for at CCH. Being a baseball coach is important as are all the adults involved with CCH but let's stop and think what is most important. Coach Krumps is a great guy, great teacher and considered state wide to be one of the best coaches in the state. They lost a baseball game, cmon. Another life lesson. BTW Krumps is at CCH for as long as he wants to be, a loss in a baseball game will not tarnish his reputation.

I read somewhere that Coach Maxwell has been coaching at Dixie longer than I thought. He is a very good baseball coach but an even better person. You love seeing good things happen to good people. Does anyone happen to know what Coach Maxwells record is at Dixie? Dixie - Congrats on a great year and continued success.
