* Shutitdown, first of all you need to get a life. When your summer starts at the loss of a high school athletic team that you dislike. Actually sad. * I am a Cov Cath guy and don't understand where many people think they have the best athletes year in and year out. I am assuming Shutitdown must lead the charge to determine what team has the best players. This years Cov Cath teams strength were the amount of seniors which should help but certainly not be the end all determining factor. Their success in baseball can not be only determined by Regional titles. * My next point wont be a popular one. Because everyone has a username on this site I am going out on a limb to say I doubt many if any coaches or staff are any of the few active participants on this site. I find it hard to believe that Coach Krumpleman would approve of some of the bantering that goes on here which THEOLDGUY gets sucked into. Not sure of his title but he travels with the team, keeps the book, sits near the bench at all games. He clearly is part of the team. While the info he provides is great there are plenty of avenues to provide this information. This site is not the place for team coaches, players and team staff to join people like SHUTITDOWN whose life is determined by high school sports to go back and forth. This is being addressed. *Dixie deserved the win, great coach, solid players. Well done.

Honestly, the team with the best record is not always the best team. Cov Cath with it best on the mound against any of the teams remaining with its best on the mound is not cut and dry. Each team left has 1 hammer they can throw at any team. Stansberry pitching today shows Dixie is a better team for this one game. No doubt. Dixie beat them twice this year. Connor beat them with their ace and was better, Ryle with their second best pitcher was better. There were a number of teams this year better than Cov Cath and they aren't senior dominated like the Colonels. Been watching CCH play the last few weeks and they struggle with base running, and fielding. Hitting the ball on the ground or deep in the outfields is an adventure. CCH center fielder is solid defensively but it was an adventure to either left or right. Poor base running and defensive challenges along with not having a solid number 1 on the mound results in losses when they count. Mains on the mound makes Connor better Stansberry on the mound makes Dixie better. Ryle with their 1 or 2 makes Ryle better.

Listen real close. Watching the boys in grade school leagues developing into high school players is interesting and fun to see. I had never seen this young man play ever. You obviously are hurtin, I understand, relax, take a deep breath, everything will be ok tomorrow. The sun will come out. I just found out where he went and how it came down. I understand why you are being so tight lipped after hearing. Get a good nights rest. Thanks

Doesnt matter where they go, no kidding. I sometimes will see kids in the 7 or 8 grade leagues. I just had never seen him before him showing up all of sudden. It is interesting to see them develop from grade school to high school.

When your coach plays defense to stop the point guard using two people it leaves someone open. Mr Pauly defender was playing off him a bit to help out also. Oh well.

I see plenty of games. He is a foot taller than everyone else. Doesnt do much for me. Cleves did a good job on him late.. It is been mentioned a few times here already and many agree. Cov Cath coaching staff completely out coached Holy Cross staff. Holy Cross wont get a chance for a few years to beat CCH. Colonels just have their number. I heard CovCath has beaten HC 11 out of the last 13 games!!!!! Is this true?

First time I have seen Holy Cross. Was not that impressed with Cambell. What year is he? Seems a little soft to me. Did he have his typical game?

For Ruthsatz to have 19 and do all that he does is remarkable. He was pressured all game. He is a stud for a sophomore.

Ruthsatz will do his job on both sides of the ball. Tobler is solid. Cleves will do an outstanding job. They have to get defense and some production out of the other guard spot. Not sure what the Hayden situatio is but he can play when he wants to and make a huge difference. So is his ankle sprain still bothering him? Has to be the longest healing ankle injury in history. Is it something more serious that I am not aware of? If he is productive, the shooting guards produces points cov cath wins.

The small guard (Fredericks) sp? has got to step when Ruthsatz is taken out of the game. He doesnt play defense, very slow and if he isnt hitting open threes, he is not contributing to the team, he is not helping on the floor. Ruthsatz can not do it all. The shooting guard is killing them, do they have anyone else that can fill in here from the jv or freshman teams. This team needs help from the shooting guard position to free up Nick Ruthsatz.

Hatton, I have tried to poke holes in his game and I give up. Good player but where do you play him in college? I would like to see him playing football also. He is fun to watch.
