  1. Almost anyone's fries seem to be better. I think In-N-Out has the best burger, but Shake Shack is real close. In my opinion best overall burger and fries is Habit Burger Grill. I can live without the fries though. If I'm hungry I'd rather double up on the burger and skip the fries.
  2. The California based burger chain announced today that they will be building a eastern corporate hub outside of Nashville. You have to think that this means they will also be coming to Kentucky before long. I've ate way more than my fair share of fast food, and in my opinion this is the best burger in the business. I can't wait to get a double double without having to get on a plane. If only they would work on improving their fries.
  3. Your contradicting yourself. So which is it. If Kentucky means everything than why would a relationship with another coach make any difference.
  4. Yep. Pretty good chance I won't even make it outside today.
  5. At the time the games occurred ND faced 5 ranked opponents and UGA faced 3. According to the final playoff rankings is 3 for ND and 5 for UGA. These stats appear to be based on the former.
  6. As a UK fan looking in from the outside I can't image why any UL fan would be upset that Satterfield has moved on. 25-24 record (under .500 in the ACC) and lost every game against their in-state rival by an average of 25 points, with several players from the city of Louisville wearing blue. Doesn't seem that long ago that you could pencil in an "L" for UK vs. UL and they were dominate head to head regarding recruiting the city of Louisville. I feel like if Satterfield was looking for more money UK fans would have raised it on UL's behalf to keep him. Perhaps he works out at UC, but especially considering that he is replacing a coach that took them to the playoff's I just don't see what there is to be excited about. I work for a company that is headquartered in Columbus, strong supporter of all things Buckeye, heck Archie Griffin is on the Board of Directors, so not necessarily strong UC fans. I attended a meeting last week and the topic of football was discussed during most breaks. Most of the discuss was one whether or not the Buckeyes have a chance vs. Georgia and why did UC hire Satterfield. FWIW it's worth the majority opinion is that it was a bad hire. On the other issue my person opinion is that Buckeye fans aren't given the Bulldog defense enough respect. One of these issues will be settled fairly soon, and the other one is going to take a few years to be answered.
  7. Oklahoma fake script I had not heard this until today. Pretty crazy.
  8. I'd agree, everything I've ever seen about SMU University connects it to being based in Dallas. I think University Park is a neighborhood within Dallas, it doesn't seem to have a zip code. Also I always thought that Penn State was located in State College, PA.
  9. I didn't see the game, but based off this picture don't see how you can tell whether or not it was offsides. Doesn't look like anyone lined up offsides but perhaps someone jumped off before the ball was snapped. Also I only see 10 Cal defenders. No idea why someone out of frame would have lined up offsides, but from the photo we have no idea where the 11th defender was.
  10. You think Youngstown will score more on the UK D than Florida did?
  11. Rodgers with a TD reception to add to the Devils lead. 24-10 now at the half
  12. Just talked to a friend at the game, DC’s scored on a pick 6 to put them up 14-10. OHS’s Carbon quickly answered with a 69 yd TD. O up 17 to 14 late on the 2nd qtr.
  13. I wouldn't agree that this game was closer than the score would indicate. If I recall correctly the OHS 1st team offense scored a TD every drive except for the one where Apollo got an INT inside the 20. Everyone I talked to expected a running clock and that is what we got, fairly early in the 3rd quarter. That being said Apollo was 1000% better than their first game vs OCHS. It couldn't have got any worse there was no where to go but up.
  14. In my opinion if Apollo plays to the level that they did on Friday than they will be competitive in the rest of the games on the schedule. Owensboro's offense is not going to be contained unless up against an exceptional team such as St. X. It would not surprise me if they go for 50+ the rest of the regular season.
  15. If Apollo plays as well as they did against OHS, I think they will win.
  16. I was sitting on the Apollo side just about in line with where the hit occurred but far side of the field. As it occurred I thought it looked clean. He had about a 20 yard sprint into the QB but I think the hit itself was clean, but after watching the video, I think it was about one step too late.
  17. While I do think that it is not outside the realm of possibility that the Devils could win this one, they are going to have to actually do it to make me a believer. That being said, if they can get past this week without any significant injuries, I think that they more than likely run the table the rest of the regular season.
  18. I've been a Notre Dame fan all my life. Over the years they have rarely played home games at night. Almost all their home games have been 2:30 kickoffs. The majority of their night games seem to be on ABC or ESPN when they are on the road. I don't think not playing on NBC at night would be the straw to break the camels back.
  19. I'd suspect that the Aces slow starts are more due to playing better competition before heading into their district schedule which usually isn't very tough.
  20. Another out west chain that doesn't seem to get talked about much is Habit Burger Grill. To me it is the best of both worlds. Solid burgers and solid fries. For me their burger is about equal to In and Out and they have more options.
  21. I had the opposite opinion. Their burgers are about as good as I've had for a fast food chain. Their fries are garbage. Making them animal style didn't help at all.
  22. I'm not going to argue that the should be better, but Eddie Murray and Ozzie Smith were also high school teammates and both ended up in the baseball hall of fame. Obviously can't touch the number of championships. Bill Russell paired with the last man off the bench for his high school team would likely beat out most other teammate combos.
  23. Honey mustard or French. I don't really like ranch much but I will say that Rafferty's restaurant has the best ranch dressing every made in-house from scratch.
