I think that goes both ways.

I don't think Holmes is too worried about how much Scott Co can be Campbell Co by. Holmes is worried about getting out of the 9th. Then we will talk about the happenings at Rupp. Nice win for SC but it was kind of expected with the way Campbell Co. has been playing.

What time is the tip on tuesday? I will be there at least an an hour and a half before the start.

23 looked really good in the first half, he knocked down some big shots. Conner stuggled most of the game though with Holmes defensive intensity.

This is what I have said they have been lacking since the Scott Co. game. They have been flat and complacant, not tonight. They played 110% from tip to finish. Rico scored when he wanted, the game ran through Eli when he was in and that opened up outside opprotunities for Dom, JJ, and Rico like it is supposed to. Riley didn't even have to shot tonight.

Holmes was up by 30 at one point in the forth quarter. Conner's chances to pull and upset tonight ended at the jump ball, it was never close. Pittman didn't even start (Sr. Night, Housely got the start) he had 12 at halftime and may have played a total of 6 minutes at that point. He was a man amongst boys tonight and completely dominated the entire time he was on the floor. This was the most complete performance Holmes had had since Scott Co. Hopefully they can match this intensity the rest of the season, if so they will be very tough to beat.

Holmes usually gets an early start anyway because they go 20 minutes after the JV game instead of waiting around until 7:30 so it may not be too much after 7:30. Also they are only graduating two if I am correct, Housely and Riley so its not like there are 6 or 7 guys that will be taking the slow walk across the floor with there family. I don't expect it will be too bad.

Nice win for the Indians, all this proves is that HC is capable of playing good ball right now. The team across the railroad tracks better not take them lightly heading into districts.

Good win for SC, but the margin of victory shows that all of the teams in the 11th are dangerous and that 11th region championship is far from a lock.

Holmes wins, the first game they played this year was a little tight, Holmes was actually down at half. This will be a good test to see how they respond to the "second time around" type of match up vs a team that played them tough. The only other time it has happened this season was Bryan Station and they won by 18.

I just feel bad for the top 3 groups, there are 11 teams listed and 7 of them are competing for 3 spots, the 9th region you have Holmes and Boone, the 7th region you have Jeffersontown, Eastern, and Ballard and in the 11th you have Scott Co, Bryan Station.

Whoever wins the 7th should be on the road to Saturday night, I think the big confusion is the bottom bracket. I also think the 7th region and the 11th region will be the toughest 2 regional tournaments, so I am anxious to see who comes out of both. In the 11th you have a strong possibility that Scott Co. will make it out, in the 7th you have 3 teams that have an equally as good chance of beating each other. That tourny should be fun.

Yea, JJ, Housely, and Riley both played well offensively, I figured one of the three would have been the leading point man. I dunno if Riley missed a shot all night, from anywhere. Housely had an impressive "and 1" dunk, and JJ hit back to back 3's that sparked Holmes pulling away.

I am anxious to see who comes out of the 7th, 9th, 11th just to name a few. 7th has 3 really good teams, 9th just witnessed its "best team" stumble, and the 11th is stacked as well even though they have a big favorite in Scott Co, Lex Cath, Bryan Station, or Franklin Co can knock them off if they are hot and the ball isn't bouncing Scott Co's way. I think EC will be in from the 16th, and between the 7th, 9th, 11th, 16th we should find our champ IMO. But thats why they play the games.

Rather uneventful game IMO. Pretty physical, the officials let them get after it. Rico was off tonight, he put up quite a few jumpshots this evening when he had clear paths to the rim, and the jumpshots were not falling. JJ shot well from the perimeter this afternoon and we got to see a little bit more of Pierre Mayfield tonight that in previous games. Holmes was a little better from the free throw line in this one than the last couple games I have been too, still have some work to do. At different times of the game Henley pressed, at times it looked well, at times it was sloppy, they also got into some 2-3 zone which I have rarely seen, in there zone they looked vunerable, gave up alot of offensive rebounds out of it. I think they are just trying to figure out what is going to work in what situations defensively in the post season and attempting to iron some things out. Eli didn't appear to be bothered by the wrist at all, however I noticed (for the first time, but it could be something he always does) that Rico had some tape on his right wrist and thumb, as I mentioned before his jumpshot was a little off this evening and I seen him appear to get frustrated with the tape at one point and try to rip it off.
