Since coach Henley hasn't instilled that killer instinct, I will say Holmes by 14, but they should win this one by however much they decide is the standard. This should be one sided from the tip.

:laugh: I recieved a text a little before that that stated he would be fine. So he is ok, and as far as playing tomorrow we will see, if he is held out of this weekends action I would assume it is precautionary action.

Holmes will be focused, the won't come out flat, and Henley and the boys will be in complete bounce back mode against a severly out matched opponent. Holmes wins by 20+ coming off of the loss in florence tuesday.

I have heard that it was broken from one person, when I asked someone closer to the situation they told me that, that was the first they had heard of that. I have also heard that he is still in some pain and will get it looked at again tomorrow, from someone else. Obviously people are tight lipped about the situation, but from everyone I have talked to I don't think that it is broken, and I think he should be back in time for districts if not sooner. However I could be off with my assumption.

I have seen her in action as a ref more than once this season and I am throughly convinced that she means good, and she gives it her all, and she is a really good person, but she still can't ref. hahahaha

Scott Co is definately the number 1 team in the state now. I don't think there is an arguement about that anymore. Scott Co is legit as well as some others I have seen play, Ballard, Bryan Station ect, but other than there head to head loss vs Holmes I haven't seen anyone in KY better. With Holmes loss to BC I think Scott Co easily takes that number 1 spot (Haven't seen Elliott Co however but hard to think they are better than Scott Co).

I have never been a big Chappie fan, but the crew last night let the guys get after it a little bit, thats why I was suprised at the Arnold T. They were scrapping and clawing the whole night. Chappie is inconsistant however, the next time I see him he will probably call every time someone breaths on another guy. Thats he only major flaw IMO, you have to see how he is calling it from the start and adjust.

He left the game, got some tape on it, came back and knocked down a three in a matter of 3 minutes. He played on and off through the course of the game after the play that he landed on it. Hopefully that says he will be ok. If it is bad that could be a major blow.

:laugh: They are 23-2, they better be careful, they may not win another game all season now. Holy Cross will probably be favored by about 15 in the district match up. They better hit the panic button, there is no coming back from this one, there ship is sinking fast!!!!! They are still the best team in the 9th, they had a bad day, its ok. As long is the bad day was today and not in the region it doesn't hurt to bad.

You line these two teams up 10 time Holmes will win 8 of 10, Boone played well tonight and Holmes didn't bottom line. Heck the Knicks beat the Celtics this year too, upsets happen, but better now than when it counts, all I need to sleep is knowing that there very well could be a rematch in a month.

I can promise you if they play at BOK Holmes will not be nearly as flat as they were tonight. Henley will use this as a coaching tool, you never want to lose a game, but if you are going to lose one, lose in Feb and learn from it.

I think they still have the region locked up. They lost a regular season game. UK can lose to Miss St, Florida, South Carolina and those guys and still win the SEC tournament right? Then Holmes can lose to Boone and still win the 9th.

Febuary 10th doesn't matter either way you look at it, drop Holmes out of the whole top 20 for all I care. The only thing that matters is who is representing the 9th at Rupp, and who hoists the trophy at the end of the year. That is a month from now, so it matters how you are playing then.

Boone contested alot of shots but contested or not JJ missed at least 3 lay-ups himself, Holmes was around the rim quite a few times and didn't finish. They they got frustrated and started shooting jumpshots.

They also beat Scott Co, Ballard, and split with Bryan Station. Thats 3 of the top 6

I agree, you can not blame the officials in this one. The only call I will disagee with is the Technical foul on Arnold, Holmes cut the lead to 6 he was making a play on the ball, they both stumbled out of bounds and feet got tangled. The kid from boone fell, next thing you know a T is called. It was called because of Arnold's rep because there was nothing flagrant about what happened and he wasn't trying to hurt anyone.

Holmes was miserable from the line, I know they had to have had at least 15 missed free throws if not more.
