Campbell County travels to Covington Saturday at 3:30 to take on the Dogs.

 

Holmes comes in 24-2 after a win over NCC.

 

Campbell Co comes in 15-8 and have lost 6 of their last 9.

 

Thoughts?

Since coach Henley hasn't instilled that killer instinct, I will say Holmes by 14, but they should win this one by however much they decide is the standard. This should be one sided from the tip.

Campbell has been keeping it pretty close in those losses however, and as mentioned, Holmes not blowing too many team out. Campbell has some size and athleticism as well, and has been playing pretty good "D" this year for Coach Code. I'll take a stab with:

Holmes has just way more talent, speed, etc. than Campbell does.

Yes, J V game starts at 2 pm, then the J V team will play again at 6:30 tonight at Cov Cath for the Championship against Boone Co.

 

I believe its at 6:00 since I also believe the freshman championship starts at 7:30.

I see Holmes winning by around 15...give or take a few. Look for Pittman and Rico to both have big games as CC really doesn't have anyone who can match up with them. Won't be able to make this one since my buddy's getting married today, but hope someone has details later.

JV game is at 6:30. They announced it last night that it was pushed back a half hour.
