35th District boys game between CovCath & Beechwood time change

Featured Replies

I was just told that the CovCath vs. Beechwood 1st round 35th district basketball game has been moved to the early time slot which I believe is 6pm.

I'll bet the line will be on Church St. at 4!!

:lol:I remember back in '06, I got to HC at 6 for a 7:30 start and the line was already in front of the Church. Great atmosphere. Nothing better than the Districts.

It was the same way in 03 as well...only they had people waiting in the downstairs where the kindergarten rooms are for the 8:30 tip off between Holmes and Covcath. I was lucky enough to be on the pass list though, so I didn't have to wait in line.

I'd recommend getting to the gym around 4 on Monday and Tues to get a comfortable seat.

6:00.

06 was a nightmare. I believe the HC faithful were trying to lockout the Crazies and they were standing in line for a LONGGG time. Didn't work though.

I remember this. I believe at 3:30 people were already in line.

I plan on getting to the game around 4 on Tues.

Anyone know what time they'll start letting people in?

Did that many people get left out that night? I'm honestly asking... I remember it being a packed house, but I don't know if people were unable to get in or not.

I think the majority of the people got in...I don't remember too many (if any) being left out.

That's what I thought. I really can't remember any game I've ever been to at HC where people got shutout. I know it gets crammed but I cant remember people not being able to get in.

They may have been tailgating but even if every kid in the school went they couldn't fill up the gym.
