Papabear, who are the staring 5 this year for Scott. I am thinking Tibbs, Bamforth, Stinson and Jackson. But I am not sure who the 5th player is this year?

I am not sure who will win the game. But, regardless, it should be a very good game. I know last year when they played each other, it was a very good game. Good luck Lady Eagles, bring home a win tomorrow.

Who was the other starting guard for Scott. I know Kelsey is the point guard. And it sounds like Scott played very good team basketball.

I thought that Wainscott was the point guard not Ponzer. Or has something changed?

Wishing Mr. Meadows a quick recovery. I had him as a high school teacher, and he was by far one of the best and coolest teachers, I ever had.

Scott will definitely need a shooter in addition to Lauren Tibbs and Kelsey Bamforth. Kelsey will do a good job at point guard.

I saw article below posted on Cincinnati.com today about Sydney and Boone County. "Boone County girls' basketball coach Nell Fookes said today that former Ryle basketball standout Sydney Moss is in the process of transferring to Boone. "She's been approved by our pupil personnel to come to Boone County and all her papers are in the office," Fookes said. As of last week, Moss (below) had yet to apply for a waiver from the KHSAA. Without that waiver, the sophomore-to-be would be ineligible for one year. Moss, who quit the Ryle team late last season, averaged 14.2 points and 10.0 rebounds per game as a freshman. Boone County would be her third school in four years. She started her varsity career as a seventh-grader at Heritage Academy before transferring to Ryle prior to her eighth-grade year. Fookes said she did not know if any paperwork had been filed with the KHSAA yet. "If she becomes eligible to play basketball at Boone County, she'll go through the same process that everybody goes through," Fookes said. "Everything will be filed and checked. It's pretty strict." Moss is the daughter of New England Patriots receiver Randy Moss.

Nick Hiller from Scott is going to play baseball at Centre College.

Hi Papabear, I recognized all of the girls name's except for T. Jackson? Is that by chance Taylor Jackson from Scott?

Notre Dame should be loaded with talent, just with the upcoming sophomore and senior class.

Games are moved to Lexington because the Bowling Green fields are wrecked because of all the rain Wow, I know from past experiences that Bowling Green fields were always so nice and well kept at the Lovers Lane complex. That really surprises me a change in venue like that. Definitely closer though for all of the Northern Kentucky teams to travel.

I believe the games are being played in Bowling Green Kentucky at the Lovers Lane Complex. I know there are 2 u17 girls team's from Nothern Kentucky along with at least 2 u16 girl's team's from Northern Kentucky and one u18 girl's team from Nothern Kentucky. There could be more, but those are the ones I know for sure. Best of luck to all of the Northern Kentucky teams competing this coming weekend in Bowling Green.

I know that Campbell County loses 2 very good players in Paige Bowling and Katie Kitchen. Will Anne Marie Dumaine be the point guard. I know they also have Taylor Griffin who is a good guard and of course Brianna Peters, but who else do they have returning for next year?

"She is a true point guard where Shelby was much more comfortable at the 2 guard. They will lose some offense brought by Shelby, but will add a point guard who can handle pressure and penetrate. It will be interesting to see the end result " I agree that Kelsey is a true point guard. In the short time that she did get to play for Scott, it was very evident to me that she will really help Scott next year with her ball handling skills. However, they still will need to have a player that can create offense as Benzinger did. Yes, Lauren Tibbs, no doubt will be the number one go to person on the team. But Scott will need more than just Lauren. At this point and time, I am not sure who that will be. But, anything can happen. I wish the Lady Eagles nothing but the best, and look forward to watching them play next year.

JV Coach Mike Clary has left Ludlow. Did he go elsewhere to coach. I always enjoyed watching him and Coach Stamm on the sidelines?
