Going to the John Hardin/Bullitt East game hoping the Dawgs can pull out the upset.

John Hardin is very young and injured. At one point during the game against Iroquois, I counted 6 Sophmores, 3 Juniors and 2 Seniors on the defense. This year and next year will be some growing pains, but the Sophmore and Freshman class is loaded.

I agree with everything you've said Hoss. I go to all the JH games and have for the last several years. The is the worst team they've fielded since I've been watching, but as you've stated, we expected the down years. I'm having trouble figuring out why the o-line is performing poorly. I'm hoping they figure it out soon.

That's difficult to say since he was the only coach the school had since it opened.

I would agree with this in general, but the kids would probably be just as excited or more so if they were playing against Trinity. The kids know much more about Trinity and their history, and I would think be even more jacked up.

Does Dale lay the smack down on Collins to stir up the discussion about possibly being the best team in the state? I would be surprised if that even enters his mind.

My brother and I watch all the championship games every year regardless of who is playing or where it's playing. Free bus ride has no bearing on decision. Like my name says, I'm just a fan of high school football.

Elam didn't play tonight. He dressed but that was it. I actually give him a lot of credit for dressing knowing he wouldn't be playing.

Just to try an attempt at answering the question, when Meade played John, Meade was at full strength. The problem is these teams know each other very well and play a similar style. John won, but it is always a good game. Meade generally has slow starts but gets stronger throughout the year. They make more improvements than any other team I've watched. So I guess the answer is don't look at the scores earlier in the year to assess Meade County. This is a much different team.

He's scheduled to get an MRI on Monday. Like Hoss said, I would be surprised if he plays this week.

I'm actually surprised this hasn't happened before. Most teams just dive at his legs most of the game. Hate this for Matt and John Hardin. Hope he's okay.
