theguru Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Will anyone challenge the two at the top?
Hellbird Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I'd like to know what happened to John Hardin this year?
ATLCat Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Will anyone challenge the two at the top? North Laurel challenged Pulaski a couple nights ago... don't see why they wont be challenged again
Purple88 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Is Damien Harris going to play vs. Pulaski? Know he was hurt in the last game and was on crutches at the UK game this weekend. "Will anyone challenge the two at the top" North Laurel played really well last week and I'd call that a challenge. BG's next game is game against cross-town rival Warren Central. They should challenge the Purples, but I'm not sure many others other than Pulaski can.
Purple88 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I'd like to know what happened to John Hardin this year? Hellbird, Hoss403 could tell you the best, but I know they lost at least 2 of their best defensive players for the year in the first game of the season. Then they lost both of their starting running backs for the year. Their have been other injuries too I think. Their Oline just hasn't come together like past years. They have a really strong freshman class though, so I don't think they'll be down long. To sum it up, I think their early schedule, plus the onslaught of injuries have created a bad avalanche effect on them, but I still look for them to compete in their district. Although this has allowed Iroquois to punch through and be one of the real feel good stories of the year:)
Justafan2 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 John Hardin is very young and injured. At one point during the game against Iroquois, I counted 6 Sophmores, 3 Juniors and 2 Seniors on the defense. This year and next year will be some growing pains, but the Sophmore and Freshman class is loaded.
