Spurlin is the locamotive of the Lincoln County Train. From what I have seen thus far this season they go as he goes.

Resetting the score to zero after each period sometimes keeps the fans away.

Matt Bullen is probably the best player on the team. Look for him if you watch the rock this year.

Coach Mefford, Woodford Counties coach, and Coach Griesser, Montgomery Counties coach, are two top notch Coaches. :ylsuper:

I agree with this also with a few excpetions/notations....These explainations need to be given during a freethrow situation or during a dead ball. I've seen officials miss fouls/violations because they are discussing a play with coach during a live ball. As a coach and referee I learned the hard way this very thing. Also, the way a coach approaches me about a particular play also has an effect on whether or not I discuss the play with them. As mentioned above, a referee's main focus is the game and game management, not expaining every call thats made. As two very intelligent officials once told me, "You cannot misquote silence!":sssh:

replying to this....I think they are all big calls. Every foul, violation, ect when looked at hindsight lends it hand to the game. So, consistancy across the board the whole game. If you make the call in the first minute, it needs to be called in the last. Some may disagree...your thoughts?:argue:

I agree with this to some degree. If there is a call or a play i have a question about this is always a good time to discuss it as the playing action has stopped...to some degree. A good official however should know when to reply and when not too. I am guilty of asking a question during play and an official misses something because they are looking at me.:confused:

Good officials are ones that truly understand the rules...and are great at running the floor and enforcing them. I like Terry Smith in the 10/11th.
