Campbell County was not impressive. CCH flat out beat them. I'm very surprised that Campbell County outrebounded CCH in this game according to a stat earlier in this thread. I was at the game, and it looked like CCH was doing very well on the boards. When Listerman only pays his top 8 or so, the outcome is usually a lot better. Against Ryle, he used about eight and kept it a good game. Tonight he did the same and the outcome was much better. Hope he stays with it. Also nice to see Shover back, although it is easy to tell he isn't himself. Def. needs more time, but he'll get there. . CCH needs to work on getting the ball inside more, but their shot selection was better tonight, although still throwing up too many brick three's. Thank goodness they won

It's actually once the ref's are on the floor during pre-game dunking is no longer permitted. Before that it is free game. I believe it typically occurs around the 15 minute mark til game time, but I've seen them come out earlier and later.

I believe the starting lineup was Pauly Ives Maile Wellbrock Isler. Counts did not see nearly as much time as he had previously seen. I don't believe Sorrell did either.

Yeah I understand that, but by game six, that excuse is starting to fade. They don't have the shooting or talent this year, that's fine. They really don't have any one player who is a stand out, and with Shover out who could be that player, it hurts even worse. There are all kinds of reasons this team is having problems, but lack of varsity minutes last year is the least of the problem at this point I think. And no, I would not have Sorrell drive to the basket. Ives, although he has a tendency to throw away the ball, can drive to the basket effectively, hence the "needs improvement" aspect of "driving to the basket" that I talked about. Pauly is the same. He is too small though. I don't know, I guess it's just going to be a reallllly long season.

I think it is both. I think it is that Highlands is not as good as advertised and NCC is probably a bit better than thought to be.

lol having seen their three point shooting, and knowing the odds of it going into the hoop, IMO 10 attempts is a lot. It really doesn't matter either way though because had they attempted nine more, let's be honest, they might have made one. Focus on driving, [which needs work but IS attainable] and feeding it into the basket [which works obviously] because those will be strengths. The only time I see shooting three's as smart is when Sorrell is having one of his nights, or Shover is back. Pauly and Ives throwing up a three maybe once a game or twice is fine, but otherwise not so much. It's horrendous to see.

lol 0 for 9 or 10 is still a lot. They just need to abandon that concept. Their three point shooting is terrible. Pathetic. I am also curious to see if they had many turnovers this game. Sounds like they did a good job of feeding it down low this game though. Just going to be a long season.

I'd like to see it. Personally I do not think Highlands is as good as people are seeming to think they are.

lol yeah, Cooperstown is pretty accurate and fair with his assessment with players from what I have seen so far. Haven't seen Diamond Dandy around in some time but yeah its possible CCH24 has them confused ha.

I don't think HHS stands a chance. The fact that CCH was in this game at all, with how poor we have been playing shows that the Birds don't have a prayer.

Mmm I'd say he is 6'2 or 6'3. He wasn't as tall as Wellbrock or Isler. But he was a big boy. Had a lot of strength.
