I don't know which team to pick, as I haven't seen Scott County this season. I have seen Holmes, admittedly in their first game and in a game where I feel they didn't play anywhere near as good as they should have, so I'm hesitant to go with them after what I saw. But I feel like Holmes can pull it out, as long as Riley has a big game like he is capable of shooting wise. Hopefully Holmes depth doesn't hurt them. Holmes by 6.

I have to say, the score seems to indicate that not much was done to contain the end result from getting out of hand. 75 to 17, that is just...I mean didn't Cooper score more than that on Holy Cross or someone else they played. Is Ryle's JV and Freshman teams THAT dominating?

Nagging illness. Not too sure of the details, but the poor guy just can't get back to full strength.

Wow I can't even remember that far ago, that is bad haha! I think he did play quality time his sophmore year, but his junior year he started and this year he would have started as well and he will when he returns.

Really, to be honest, although all but one of the starters for CCH were seniors, they were all JV players last year besides Maile. And then anything else left on the bench besides Isler and Ives[who played JV and varsity] played strictly JV or freshman. This is not a mature team, upperclassmen or not. Luckily for then they have Isler and Maile who have some experience with leadership [isler was QB and Maile and Isler both have played varsity baseball since freshman year] so hopefully they can develop some maturity QUICK.

Yea, I was going to say, this is anything BUT a mature team. Maile obviously was a starter. Isler saw some time I believe too. Ives maybe as well. Beyond that I don't think there are many that have any varsity experience, so this is def. a new experience.

Hm, yes, I've heard he has gotten quite big..should be good for his baseball team if he can learn to throw accurately.

lol I mean WOW. The list of negatives is far too long so I'm not going to go into too much detail, but just a few that stood out. I was VERY disappointed with attitude of one of the starters. Nothing else needs to be said on that. Our guards..well, not much else you can say on that subject either is there lol? I was glad to see Listerman give Maschinot a shot, although he maybe did not have a great performance, he did just as mediocre to bad as the other ones so he did no harm. This game was a good game until midway through the 3rd and it just got blown open. Listerman needs to recognize his best combination of players on the floor and run with it. The positives, uhh...I was happy to see Listerman put two big men on the floor together. If he is smart, he will continue to do this. Thelen seems to work well with another big man on the floor, and since the guards don't look for the big men I noticed the big men looked for each other lol. Isler had a good game back with 8 points, and a handful of rebounds and Luke lead the team which obviously needed to be done tonight, it just wasn't enough. I hope that those two will step up and do something, because they need some senior leadership right now.

"throwing up some weight" implies that he is bulking up. I mean when you think of someone "throwing up some weight" do you think of them power lifting 50 pounds? lol...I don't know what kind of weight program Bird is on, but if pitching is what his focus is on, hopefully it is NOT heavy lifting.

Yeah, his role was to bunt guys over and he usually did a pretty good job of that. In the infield he did decent. It was no secret that CCH's weakness was their middle infield. So 2nd and Short..but as the season progressed he seemed to get a bit better with it. Should be solid this year.

:thumb: Light weight and more reps. The focus is put on your core strength and your legs. They don't want you to bulk up in the weight room. They want you to do low weight, lots of repitition.

SK is not the best team in NKY, Highlands is. No secret, duhh. And Trinity is better than Highlands IMO. So common sense would say that SK is going to get kicked by Trinity. But some of Trinity's fans seem super overconfident and if that is how the team comes out then I sincerely hope SK takes advantage and takes it to them. Anything can happen and SK CAN be the best team on the field that night and that is all that matters.

I'm not sure outside of Beautels or however you spell it, and Romes that anything really stood out for me. And Romes did not even have a great game, so assuming he is on maybe they could knock off a few teams. AJ Smith could potentially do some damage down low, but he is kind of clumsy with his body and they haven't figured out how to lob the ball into him yet effectively where he can get to it, cause he has some limited movement with his body. But uh, either way CCH is in a downnnnnnnn year. :thumb:
