Had to leave after the third quarter, but Ryle already had this thing well in hand. Conner was never in this game and Ryle dominated all phases. Heck, Conner started out 2 points down before the game even started (seriously - they were assessed a pre-game technical for dunking)! Ryle keeps improving and has a chance to really make some noise in the 9th. Not to pour salt in their wound, but Conner was very unimpressive.

Surprised by this margin of victory. Congrats to the Raiders. It sounds like the Boone-Ryle rematch at Ryle will be a very close ball game. Ryle is on their way to a nice season.

I can't tell you how many games I've been to since about 1972 and I've never once seen a pre-game dunk technical.

It only takes half a brain as a player to realize the 15 minute mark and that the refs are coming ... It takes less as a coach to post an assistant with the sole responsibility of informing the team of the same...

But ultimately, it had zero effect on the outcome of the game. Ryle was the far superior team in this one.

True. I see this as a ticky tack call that could happen any time the refs want to "duck their heads out the window" early. Surprised that this would be called. As with you, I have never seen it called in all of the games I've attended. Sounds like it was a bad start to a bad night for the Cougars.
