I'm not sure what happened but the NKY Bulldogs were within 4 at the half and then benched their best player #5 for most of the second half???

I do agree with Trammel being in the running. But with pompilio (sp?) leaving wont he become more of a scorer? Everyone thinks that dixie will be a good team next year but its tough to replace someone that can play like him!

Don't forget that Dixie beat NCC by 10 in the regular season. Dixie by 5 in a close one on a neutral court!

No, Brandon Hatten strictly plays JV and Varsity as a 7th grader. He does not play middle school ball or Freshman ball.

Dixie beating Cov. Cath by 20 tonight and St. Henry losing by 20 favors well for Dixie to win the District.

Congratulations Dixie for a great win. The game was close at the end of the 3rd quarter and Dixie went on a big run. We have Cooper on Tuesday and Boone Co. on Fiday. Let's win 2 more going into the Districts.

Dixie matches up well with Scott! If Coach Chevalier doesn't go too deep on the bench, Dixie wins by 5 again. Dixie should only go 8 deep, yet he continues to go 10 or 11 and they lose continuity.

Good for him. Is he a lock down defender or was Trammel was just off, hes averaging double digits this season and he didnt score a point on Riley.

Riley is having a heck of a season and sounds like hes really leading his team? Does anyone know of any colleges looking at him?

Heard Trammel had an off night but handled the ball well. He was 0 for 12 from the floor? If he plays like he normally does is this a closer game or is Holmes that dominate? :idunno:

Well in their defense...it's because most of the time they can put it in cruise control. But one time it can come back to bite. Most of them were there last year so maybe they will re-direct themselves come tourney time.

Well if nothing else it will definately build charachter! I believe Henley will show class as usual. Not to get off the beaten path though, the only weakness I see Holmes having is the "appearance" of being disinterested in the first half of the game. They come back, but how many times before it becomes unattainable? I'm glad they keep it tight for their NKY counterparts! LOL! But when they go down state I don't want to see them "play with their food" (so to speak)

With new schools like Cooper, do they have the choice of scheduling JV games only and not initiating Varsity play for the first season?

Really! Is there a formula to scheduling games? I know you have to play district opponents, but what about others?

Wes Smith has been playing with more intensity and aggression for the ball lately (which is good to see). Really all that saw time on the floor contributed to this game...Trammell looks really comfortable at the point. Boese (sp?) did score much, but had a decent defensive game. Steven Pompillio is struggling at the FT line. Which, as we all know, can win games. Pike is a great contributor, but really needs to watch his actions on the floor..too many "noticeable fouls".

Tell me more about Elliott County....I keep hearing about them. Sounds like from other threads they are totally under rated!:popcorn:
