  1. Maybe just maybe he prefers man to man defense:sssh:
  2. Isn't he a new transfer to Scott Co.? Who was Euton playing for when the "offer" was made?
  3. Good win for Dayton. What a shame for Ludlow. They had talent last year that wasn't produced to the fullest. I agree though, Williamson has diminished in his game. I watched a game last season where I thought they put too much emphasis on him getting the ball too much. They had ample talent that could shoot as well.
  4. I'm sorry if I've offended in any way...just wasn't understanding why this is such a jaw dropping loss for NCC and unfathomable win for Dixie. Every team this year will have their ups and downs... NCC being one and Dixie being one.... great thing is it could be anyone's day in high school sports. NCC is a great team and proves themselves every year. Dixie for the most part does as well. I just think early season speculation comes back to bite. But I don't know about the word creepy???
  5. Wow....it just couldn't be the fact that Dixie had a really good game could it?? I didn't see a lack of any effort on behalf of the Breds.
  6. Call him a pack mule. He carries the team on his back.
  7. Don't count anyone out! Teams are different in the end than they are in the beginning.
  8. Villa needs to diversify their game. Bryan can't be the only one shooting the ball. He had a good game. Raleigh and Trammel defended him well. The refs called it extremely tight and sent Bryan to line where he didn't fare so well. Bryan may not see the protection in other games that he saw tonight.
  9. Pike is a hold back. Trammel is a sophomore and has not been held back.
  10. Give Bryan his 30 and Dixie still wins by 20! Bryan can't beat 5!
  11. Score doesn't really tell the whole story.....Dixie would have been in the game had they made free throws....and in the second half of the game the refs went whistle crazy. At the end of the 3rd quarter there were 20!! fouls called and then came the 4th quarter!!
  12. So does Trammel hold any value since he is apparently the same age?
  13. OK....I looked back through the thread and it was said he is a hold back. So he is better than average 8th grade player!! I think the question I originally asked was why should a 5A school look to middle school participation unless the middle school student is a phenom. I'm not seeing the phenominal aspect of his game. He doesn't hurt, but hasn't brought them to the brink of greatness either. I was questioning why Dixie has so little participation from it's direct student body.
  14. I'm confused by the ranking....he is ranked #2 in his class which is 7th grade? He is a hold back?
  15. Nothing against the Hatton boy, but IMO it doesn't seem that a 5A school should even have to entertain the thought of middle school participants. Unless he outsizes and outplayes the seniors on the team. Is participation at Dixie that sparce? Why? It seems like a great school!
  16. So the coach may be wasting his time with his inclusion in varsity games?
  17. Trammel had 2 fouls on him with approx. 3 minutes left in the half. Right now from a spectators view, the coaching staff may want to reevaluate the plays being run. Dixie didn't seem real diverse on plays. I've seen Trammel & Pike play and I know they have alot more to offer on the floor though it doesn't seem as though many (if any) plays are run through them. Again in my opinion Dixie should play more aggresively on the ball. This is all a spectator's opinion. I'm sure the coach knows his team better than I do.
  18. My son told me he played in a BCI tournament the weekend school had already started. He apparently wasn't aware of the KHSAA rules. His parents called the coach when they found out. I guess Dixie called KHSAA and he was suspended for the # of games he played in the tournament. I believe my son told me it was just two games. So I guess this is his second? They definately need him.
  19. Don't feel used grasshopper. Every occassion is an occassion to learn.
