Total mismatch ... Not suprised at all by this outcome . Desales was dominated from start to finish . The Johnson kid made some nice plays now and then but overall the Colts never really had a chance . Too much pressure on Johnson all night .

Big effort by Mayfield and defense . Cross' defense was strong with #55 , #50 , #42 and # 67 heading up the effort .

You are absolutely correct . I stand corrected . I would have bet a 1000.00 that a couple of the times that Danville beat us it was to go to the Championship . Either way Danville killed our souls like 4 or 5 years in a row , most of them in heartbreaking fashion .

They have made it to the 4th round at least 4 times . They could never get over the hump , but the funny thing is that 3 of the times that they made it there they had to play your Admiral team . Where were you when that went down ? Holy Cross is not as rich in tradition as Danville or Mayfield but they are no slouch either .

Louisville Holy Cross is hurting with injuries this year . They have had an up and down year to say the least but were beat by 3 ranked teams in Belfry , Doss and Desales . They also lost to 6A Butler that was the low point of the season . If they play their game they will win on Friday but who knows who will show up . They have had a bad tendency to start games off very slow and wait until the 2nd half to play their game . If they do that this week they will dig a hole that they cannot get out of . I see Holy Cross winning a close one because of Home Field advantage and the fact that they didn't have to travel 4 hours .

Holy Cross' field is at the school . Nice venue . Holy Cross 49 - Fulton City 12 ...... Holy Cross will be glad to get back to playing 1A teams again after getting man-handled the last 2 weeks by 5A and 6A schools . Tough beating on Friday by a much quicker Doss team . Doss was not more physical but tremendously faster than Cross . Holy Cross is very beat up right now so hopefully they can handle Fulton City with a little ease and rest some players . They will not overlook Fulton though .
