  4. This game is at Green County. A long ride from Hancock Co. to Green Co. :thumb:
  5. Green County Quarterback: Justin Pendleton, 6'0", 190 lbs, Senior had 15 carries for 156 yards and 6 touchdowns against Hazard in the 2008 Bluegrass Bowl. Green Co. wins the contest 48-39.

  8. This one ended up a track meet. It was everything it was hyped up to be. Two very good football teams slugging it out play after play. There was some hits in this game that you normally see on Sunday evenings. Great job by the offenses while the defenses were battle tested. Both teams had 500 plus yards of total offense. Some really good individual performances as Green County had three guys with more than 150 yards rushing. The quarterback Pendleton, scores 6 touchdowns. Hazard's QB threw for over 300 yards and one runningback with a great night rushing as well. This one was a Slobber Knocker !!! :thumb:
  9. Don't lose your mind just yet. They beat Taylor Co. No disrespect, but Taylor is not the caliber of opponent that the Falcons will face in their own district. Green Co., Glasgow, and Metcalfe Co. are very battle tested opponents that will cause problems to most programs throughout the state. With that being said, I expected Monroe Co. to be much improved but to go from 0-5 versus district opponents to winning the district is quite far-fetched at this point and time.
  10. Just wondering why Green County is not listed in the Central Kentucky teams. They would be a team that many in that area would keep track of and give predictions. :thumb:
  11. Yes Macon is playing for Taylor Co. He is a big target and a great talent, I just don't like his attitude on the field. However, Taylor Co. has a exceptional runningback by the name of Chris Thomas. This young man is a great player and a great individual. If Turpin gets time to throw the ball a little and opens the field for Thomas, Taylor Co. can be really dangerous. I also think that Donald White is playing this season. Not sure how his football skills are but he is also a big target with great speed. :thumb:
  12. Washington did lose a few key players off last years squad. They started the year strong but the injury to star runningback Shane Bueter started a downhill slide. I don't look for the Commanders to really give Lincoln County any problems. Jo Jo Simms is a descent quarterback but will play right into the hands of the Patriots. Lincoln Co. wins this one convincingly 42-7. :thumb:
  13. What factors will determine the outcome of this game. Since most on this thread have picked Hazard, then what is it that Hazard does that may cause the Dragons some trouble? If you have picked the Dragons then what do you think will factor in them picking up the win? :thumb:
  14. This is the opening high school game of the Bluegrass Bowl @ Lexington Catholic High School. Who wins this one and why? :thumb:
  15. Come on guys, LCA runs a first class program that is deserving of the Preseason #1 1A ranking. Doesn't seem if you are giving these guys much credit. This game against Campbellsville looks good on paper but in the end, LCA wins in dominating fashion. I first said 34-14 but I am changing it to 41-14. The Eagles roll in this one and maybe start to win a little respect ! :thumb:
  16. I have heard that Monroe Co. has lost a couple starters due to injury. Is this true? I believe this game will be a good game for both teams but Taylor County gets the win 34-20. :thumb:
  17. Seeing Ballard in their second scrimmage, I have to go with St. X and they probably name the score. St. X 56 - Ballard 6 :thumb:
  18. 5: Paducah Tilghman 3: Tates Creek 3: Fort Campbell 1: Green County 1: Ashland Blazer 1: Breathitt County 1: Pulaski County 1: DuPont Manual 1: Henry Clay 1: Boyle County TB: 48 pts.
  19. I think Fort Campbell will win this one but it will not be a run away. I believe the Falcons will be too strong early for the Cards. Mayfield would fair much better if this game was in week 5. Fort Campbell - 34, Mayfield - 21
  20. 1A: Lexington Christian 2A: Danville 3A: Belfry 4A: Marion County 5A: Lincoln County 6A: St. Xavier
  21. Game 1: Green County Game 2: Fort Campbell Game 3: Bishop Chatard, IN Game 4: Lou. Manual Game 5: Breathitt County :thumb:
  22. Knowing a little about both teams, I will say that this game will go to LCA. With that in mind, Campbellsville has good athletes and tend to look good in uniform. However, LCA too strong for the Eagles in this one. LCA 34 - Cville 14. :thumb:
