  1. Those are all boys from NKYFL. Where's all of the Boone Co. RB's...besides shaun of course. IMHO, Miles is a better back than all of those listed. He probably did not play for as good as a team as Frisk or Madden either. As much as SK fans and SKfan36 would not care to agree or admit, it is truly hard to compare. Both teams had good qb's as well.
  2. I'm sure he will be 17 as a junior as well...which means he will be 18 as a senior.
  3. Ryle also has two solid long jumpers. Not much in the rest of the field events but they have a fairly young team. CovCath will probably win conference but all that does not matter since they aren't in the same region as the rest. The region will be wide open this year with CC and SK having the upper hand. But Ryle and Conner right behind them.
  4. Which recruiting website is that? :idunno: I am not saying I have a better eye, but i have not seen it as a Quarterback. He is obviously very big with a family history, sure he is garnering interest...I just don't think he is top 3 in NKY this season. But he may have good games against the likes of Scott and Holmes.
  5. You're missing my point. You must have sideline passes and have witnessed his skill because I have not. When I do witness it, I will confirm or disconfirm your belief as the best QB in the state. My feeling is, it will be the latter...
  6. That playoff game was a blowout til the last 5 min, sk got two long TD passes to make it look somewhat respectable. Skfan36, that number certainly isn't your age. You haven't been around long enough to see how wrong you really are.
  7. Than I am one to prove wrong. I just don't see it. Being big doesn't make you good. When i saw him play on JV, he didn't even throw the ball. He's so dang big he just ran all over those poor 15 year olds...Dixie does not have enough around them to make him the best QB. So I understand you are entitled, but in my opinion the qb's from Ryle, birds, sk are the top three...in that order.
  8. Maybe they saw his game films...he looked pretty good against JV competition. :dancingpa
  9. NKAC is at Dixie later this week. We will see who is better Cov or CC. I personally feel that Campbell will have the edge on the track but Cov will have the edge on the field....Overall advantage Cov. Too many field events, Cov will capitalize. I would say SK, Ryle, and Conner are the next three schools...not sure what Highlands have this year. CC Girls is by far the best team in NKY and top 5 in the state. Their program is one to model yours from.
  10. You speak of one particular player hitting Ryle offensive players...are you the president of his fan club?? I don't know why so many HS football fans suggest that the QB needs to be a prototypical QB (Towles). I assume it is because most colleges are looking for the same thing. There are many other things that factor into them being great. SKfan36's explanation for Chad Lawrence sounds like that of an 8 year old without the mental capacity to establish an argument. But even though your points are absurd and ridiculous, he is one of the top QB's in NKY. It's a good thing that you arent his attorney though...
  11. She spent close to a million dollars?
  12. I second this.
  13. You don't hear J. Frisk's name called out too often. But i would say those two, plus Miles is the best that i've seen...in NKY. But statewide i would throw in Penner and shelton in this list as well.
  14. There were years that Ryle had a 5 TD lead on SK at the half. It's understandable how one arrogant fan can take their recent success and consider themselves the 70's Steelers...hence the word arrogant. If posting BGP quotes on locker room walls were semi-appropriate, skfan36 would be supplying most of this propaganda. I hope, in the end, he will be there to shake hands, instead of running to the car to scurry back to Independence.
  15. Typically you do speak positively but doesn't your above quote talk down towards the Ryle staff? Thats ok if you feel that way but shouldn't we be constructive? There will be a lot of depth on this year's Ryle football team. There were a lot more than 4 contributing players lost off of Ryle's team but they will find a way to replace them...or they will get crushed by skfan36's team. :isurrender:
  16. The only positive the draft has is success for the stars of the league and the egotistical coaches. Every coach has the intention of winning, but as posted earlier the late bloomers get lost in the shuffle. Those kids sometimes lose interest and enjoyment for the game. Every Pee Wee league should teach kids how to play football properly and teach them all of the great things about the game of football. Winning should be a bi-product of how well the players learn the fundamentals, supplemented by their ability.
  17. This dude's posts are becoming more ridiculous each day. Hey...good luck skfan36. You are making it a daily routine to check your posts on here, if i'm in the need for a good laugh. :thumb:
  18. Whether he was a 100% is valid point...but you still defend that he is the best back in the state of KY, despite not being healthy. Wow...if it wasn't for that ankle he'd be starting RB for Bama next year over the Heisman Trophy winner.
  19. Ryle has a lot to prove in 2010. They are receiving high praises, appropriately, this season as they have many KEY returning starters. SK just graduated the best RB in NKY in 15 years. To say that they are going to blow out their competition this year is very bold. Sage Powell is a tremendous talent but is not and will not be a legitimate replacement at RB for Simpson. As previously stated, you may be the biggest eater of crow on this forum...
  20. And this is coming from a straightshooter...
  21. Bruns will be the best, for probably the next two years. Is Abner #11? Sk36...I mean, UK 36 was able to name 4. Since they run a 3-5, does that mean one of their bench players is one of the best in NKY???
  22. Boggs will be best PR/KR in the area. Great speed and much more mature frame this season.
  23. Cooper wins 3 of these...Boone may be there 4th.
  24. It will be a crime against his team to sit him out 1 meaningful down of defense...He will start OLB, just like he did the end of last season. Except, this season he will be prepared and a year older...
