True. Probably 5'10" 190ish, but pound for pound the toughest HS RB I have ever seen! He may not have been a RB with UK, but could have made a contribution. Same thing with Mr. Fugate. It just kills me that UK will not pay attention to the in-state phenoms.

Yes! When they ignored him, I was very upset. They needed a good RB at that time.... I believe Fugate would fit very well with the Cats. Oh well....

He is big, strong & very fast! I could'nt help but notice some nice blocks @ the point of attack.... Amazing how a great back makes the D look like poor tacklers.

I agree. Corbin, Lee & Knox will be tough for us to say the least!

We agree on offense except for running back. We will be good at that position. Defensively, we are a little short of that team in the secondary. Pope, Stevenson, Belcher, Ball & company were good in that secondary. Of course, Pope was very good on both sides of the ball..........Wolfe has been a fine addition as kicker. Expectations are for an experienced, hard nosed football team that has been through a lot of adversity to be 500 or better and win a few ball games in the 1A playoffs.

They are short an explosive player like Lundy and the ability to throw the ball downfield. Other than that, I believe they would match up with that team fairly well.

Have the two ever met? Year? Result? ...........A good question for HDE. He would know.

James Ball is a coaches dream. He is an all purpose football player. He can do it all (had him in the 6th grade). I understand he might play some D1 football. Best of luck to him and HCHS.

They ran on a wet track Saturday at the combine. As a result, their times were not as good as expected. They did well in the weightroom though. :ylsuper:

I would like to see a change in game times. I'm talking about those games in August, September, and sometimes October when heat is an issue. Why not schedule those games when heat is a threat to kickoff @ 9PM on Friday nights or have them on Saturday @ 8AM? I would be there if they kicked off @ 2AM. Just a thought.

:ylsuper: :thumb: Agree 100%. Also, there are so many things you can do out of tight sets. Counters, slants, boots etc. Can be very effective!

I'm shooting for a game vs Raceland for the following 2 reasons: 1. I know if we play Raceland we will have made a deep run in the playoffs. 2. I'll get to meet RAM. :notworthy:

The only replacements are a Fullback on O and a Safety on D. 13 to possibly 15 seniors strong this year. Big # of Seniors for Harlan football.
