Agreed, and my comment about CovCath not being a power wasn't me fishing for butthurt in the CCH community. CovCath is a quality team, but I kinda reserve "power" for teams who reach BG with regularity. They're a threat, and never to be taken lightly, but there's a difference between a NKY power and a state power. No offense meant, just a difference of defining the term. And, no, despite the great run that the Birds had between CovCath victories, I don't consider them to be a power at the moment. My definition is pretty fluid.

CovCath isn't a state power. They were a decent team hoping to pull off a championship appearance for the first time in ten years. They beat Highlands and had a nice playoff run, so they made strides compared to the last few seasons. Lots of youth on this team, so expectations should be high for this team next season.

Lots of schools in Class A that I've never heard of previously. Sturgis, Hopkinsville Attucks, Franklin Lincoln, Henderson Douglass, Bowling Green High Street, Murray Douglass, Owensboro Western, Paducah Lincoln, Providence, Lebanon Rosewald, Mt. Sterling Dubois, Paris Western, Benham, Black Star, Rosenwald, Lily, Loyall and Wallins ring no bells at all. I'm guessing a few were black only schools. Anyone able to shed any light on any of them?

If you have to ask I'm thinking that's about the fourth bucket for you.
