North Laurel lost a heck of a Volleyball coach this week.

I know they lost 30 seniors.

Boyle is 4A.

Those three programs didn't have Tom Larkey.

Pulaski has a good football team, however their not a top 5 program in 5A.

I'm not saying take the district champ and runner-up from a power school like Highlands or somthing. I'm from a school that in the past 17 years under the 32 team format have made the playoffs 12-17 times, however only 4 times have we been in the top 2 spots. 32 teams is just way to many, you have 10 games to show if you belong in the playoffs or not.

IMHO 32 teams is way to many, only district champ and runner-up needed.

I thought Harlan County would be getting some mention, I feel like they could be between 7-10 IMHO.

I would say that it's a safe bet that Chad will start on defence, however it seems like a bit of a reach to think he will get most of the reps with a kid like Dexter in the backfield.

If Highlands stays injury free they will win class 5A without much trouble, better than last year IMHO.

That's great, I was worried he might have to sit this season. Is Chad going to run the ball for the JV or do you think he will get some reps for the varsity. I know he will start on defence, however with Central's 2 older running backs I figure they will run him some in JV to keep him sharp in case the other backs get banged up, plus it would gain him some experience for next season.

Is Greg Duncum's 2 kids playing football for the Hounds this fall, I hope they came back they are very good athletes that will regret not playing football later IMHO.
