The regular season for Pendleton is not the concern right now!! They're busy preparing for Harrison and Harrison is preparing for the Wildcats. That is the game of most importance right now!!

Harrison is playing much better offensively and defensively. Tweaking the offense and being able to score a little more will make this a dangerous team going into tournament play! One of the following teams will win the region: Clark, Mason, Harrison or Brossart

On the other hand, Brossart's defense was tenacious. Mustangs always particular about shot selection. A combination of the two resulted in the low-scoring affair. Wow!! Brossarts offense was lights out as well!! Scoring a whopping 36 points. I guess Harrison Co's defense was terrible! Typical of Northern KY arrogance!

Harrison beats Pendleton 73-61 on the Hilltop. On a neutral court, it'll be anyones game!! Who'll come out on top? Should be an interesting game!!

All potential charges were all called blocks were all against HC. 3 or 4?? One ref made all of the calls, but was equal both Ways.

I like the Thorobreds by 12. Look for the Breds to be fresh and play with intensity on both ends!!

Great motivation for the Thorobreds, Wildcats, Royals, and Mustangs!! You've been drinking that Mt. Sterling water too long!! Can't believe you put the Indians in with Cardinals after that last Clark Co. over Montgomery!!

Harrison lost the game at the FT line. Was very lopsided. HC was 3 of 6 and CC was like 22-26. Some of the FT's were due to TO's at the top of the key, but not all. Game was basically lost for HC in the second half when the fouls were 10-3 in the fourth quarter (Clark in double bonus) and then in typical fashion after game was basically decided, the refs started trying to even out the fouls. No excuse for HC, they've got to learn to handle people hand-checking, and steering the ball handlers. That's the way its called in the regional tourney as well.

Owen has great size and didn't shoot it particularly well today. Harrison was deliberate with the ball and limited the Number of possessions. They have slot of potential and will be a tough out later in season. They're in a funk right now and are probably tired from games over holidays.

Montgomery Co., Gateway Holiday Classic

Big win for Thorobreds! Caught Owen Co at a good time after OT loss to Montgomery Co. Wednesday night.

Sorry, Montgomery is not the best team in the 10th region. Watch and see what happens. Brossart is The team to beat. They'll go into region as a district loser to Clark Co

Harrison had 27 Turnovers and got beat only 54-50. Not a good showing by the Breds.

Don't sell the Hounds short. If they come to play it could be a close one. Jacobs is a player for Paris. Not sure if Montgomery has anyone that can stop him...

Game in Taylor Mill. Statement game for both teams, but its a long way to March. Harrison not playing very well right now. Shots not falling and when that happens they don't generate much offense from their defense. Could be a long game for the Breds.

Hc might of hit 10 jump shots, it was lay-up city for them all night Harrison will cherish the moment when teams play run and jump or press. This group knows how to play and has perimeter shooters that if left open will make you pay.

Agree, Will be a close game. Will come down to whoever makes the fewest turnovers. If SK pressure D doesn't force TO's and they leave HC shooters open, it'll be interesting

Subs: PG Grant Carr, 2G Nick Slucher, 3 Tommy Vallandingham, 4 Mason Ritchie, 5 Tyler Wagner, 5 JD Kuntz, 5 Landon Palmer, 4-5 Todd Puckett, 3G Trenton Thompson. Martin and Wagner will be the key for Thorobreds to have a successful season! Look for Thompson (Frosh), Richie (Soph), Palmer (6'8" Soph) to make big improvements as the season progresses.

Dillon Pulliam, Harrison Co., Wait until you see his improvement from last year... Leaps and bounds!!! Great kid as well!

Sorry to hear this about Brian. Pendleton Co. will miss this young man and I would like to wish him the best.

At the conclusion of the season the rankings will be: 1. Harrison, 2. Brossart, 3 Montgomery, 4 Campbell, 5 Pendleton, 6 Clark, 7 Mason, 8 Scott, 9 Paris, 10 Bourbon. The top 10 players will be: 1 Prewitt, 2 Jacobs, 3 Monroe, 4 Handshoe, 5 Ford, 6 Pulliam (Harrison), 7 McGoveney, 8 Black, 9 Gillespie, 10 Kendall (Harrison)

Harrison will be very dangerous and will have multiple players at each position. Kendall has attended multiple camps and has put on weight and strength.

Scott Kendall will be a junior and may be the favorite to play point and look for Caleb Ford or Dillon Pulliam to also play some point.

Harrison lost one player in PG Eric Sanders and is returning everyone else. The majority of Harrison Co returnees are basketball only and still have a bitter taste from Pendleton Co. winning the district last year. HC has been preparing for the upcoming season since the Monday after the state basketball tourney. I've heard from a reliable source that open gyms have been nasty at HC. Great competition and spirited!!

Depending on the draw. Cats may not escape the 38th district.
