  1. I think Warning will be there best pitcher besides probably Schlagbaum. I know he was overlooked last year.
  2. It's pure and simple. If you play football, you transfer to Dixie or Simon per the open enrollment. Otherwise, you go to Highlands, CCH, or BW.
  3. There's no way they'd hang with the speed from Cali or Florida:cool:
  4. Players on the CCH defense told me personally after the game that he was in. The umpire told the o-line of Beechwood, "...ease up, he's in..." That's why the oline started running off the field.
  5. Yo Oscar, I think you had one too many cookies. Beechwood only lost to CCH twice. Once in district play and once in district tourney. I think Coach is just trying to make a point about CCHlongball, wishing BW gets run ruled twice rather than rooting for the 9th region team.
  6. That's really amazing of you to say! This goes to show I was right on when I said CCH fans tend to think there always a little better than the "others". Had CCH won the region I would give my support to them whether I liked them or not, just because I'd want someone to win from my region. Oh well, I give up.
  7. I know Meyerhoff coaches a Bluegrass 16u team. The Colonels, coached by Walt Terrell now have a 16u team coached by St. Henry's JV coach. There is an American SWOL team called Taylor Mill Titans coach by a Scott JV coach. That's about all I know of.
  8. If that's the case, it's dead wrong. I would vote for Isler. He was as dominant a pitcher as I've seen in the last couple of years. Just MO.
  9. It is fine to play M-W-F but they need to limit pitching to like 10 innings for the tourney. That way 1 stud couldn't win 2 games for a team.
  10. You have to give credit to Meyerhoff's assistants as well, Coach Baioni and Coach Mullins. I'm sure they help make his decisions easier.
  11. Where did you see the Senior All Star list?
  12. Actually, I heard the 9th and 10th semis are at St. Henry on Tues, Wed and Friday(if needed). All games are at 7:00. I heard this was still tentative.
  13. Does anyone know how Scott did last night. I heard they were up 6-0, but didn't get a final score. Thanks in advance.
  14. You really can't leave out Coach Krumps from CCH. He does get talent there but he also has something to show for that talent. There are a few out there who have a lot of talent but do not get what Krumps does from their boys. I know TOG could give me the stats, but he's had many 20+ win seasons.
  15. I don't, I just notice that CCH fans tend to look down their nose just a little bit more than the public schools do.
  16. I guess it comes down to reading posts, whether football, basketball, or baseball and when CCH loses some of their fans tend to want to complain about different things that occurred in the game rather than just congratulate the winner and move on. Did you congratulate the winner and wish them well? Of course you did; however, you added something that you didn't need to. It's like apologizing to someone and then saying 'I'm sorry. My bad but....' I don't post much in here primarily because of the anonymity issue. I would rather all of us put our real names on any post, that way anything you wrote in here there would be an accountability about it. I guess it's one of our problems with technology. There's not enough accountability.
  17. If I was to blast you, you'd be bleeding!! My point was the runner doesn't have to adjust his line as long as he his headed towards any part of the bag. The picture clearly shows part of him sliding into the bag. He never raised his spike or rolled or slashed at the defender. I think this all comes down to "liberalism" getting into our sports. It's the whole soccer crowd mentality.
  18. Well, this shows me you know nothing of the rules because the base line is established by the runner not an imaginary line between the bases. Go cry on someone elses shoulder because Im tired of listening to your whining:cry:
  19. First off "direct line" is determined from where the runner was coming from. Secondly, it is, to a degree, a judgement call. The strike zone rules are declared very clearly yet umpires don't call every strike. It is because there's a bit of judgement in every pitch. I really think you need to let this go Clyde.
  20. Actually, 3 seniors, 1 junior, 3 sophomores, and 2 freshman.
