Well, actually I believe he was up on varsity at beginning and didn't cut the mustard. You can believe what you want but I know politics exist there since a person close to me was affected by it directly. That person was bypassed by someone with the right last name. As far as Shumate goes, I've watched him on several occasions and he's a good pitcher. He's obviously not in the same league as Warning or he would be the number 1. JMO
So, who's throwing for each. I'm sure Bertke will for the Tigers since it looks as if they haven't played a game since NCC game. Does Brossart throw Fardo or Norton or someone else? Did either pitch against NCC on Monday?
Yes it does but with added afterthoughts; however, I can understand frustration at coaches at times. I just didn't like that you made a point of the pitcher not even being in the top 8 of the rotation. I'm sure the Breds have 3 or 4 that are above the rest but I would bet the other 10 or 15 (since your so deep in pitching) are all about the same on a given day.
I don't know but maybe my math is wrong. Shumate faced 17 batters in 4 innings. Thats 12 outs. So 5 batters got on by hit, walk or hbp; however, he gave up 3 hits, 3 walks and 2 hbp. What gives?
