  1. I've seen him in 4 different appearances and the off speed stuff he threw wasn't very good.
  2. So is it completely over or are they going to finish?
  3. I'm not a CCH fan as all probably know; however, Isler was definitely a more dominant pitcher. He not only had a great fastball that he could place anywhere but he also could pinpoint his change and curve. Smallwood is capable of placing his fastball but has zero offspeed pitches. Another point, Isler went D1 to UC, Smallwood went D2 or D3 (whatever Moorehead is). Isler also pitched against much better competition. Smallwood is the best this year in the 9th but if Isler was still eligible, it would be a no brainer.
  4. But you can't assume that a guy will score from 1st on a double. Then again if you're scoring for your beloved CCH, then you can ASSUME all you want. Who cares. Just as long as you pad the stats. Guarantee if you were HC scorekeeper, it would be scored an unearned run.
  5. I guess it depends on what you rule Warning's first at bat: an error or a hit. If error, obviously unearned run, if hit then earned run.
  6. The KHSAA should mandate how each District seeds their district tourney, IMHO. This way everyone operates with the same set of rules. Problem with sports nowadays is the whole liberal soccer mentality. Everyone should get a chance. Well, everyone gets a chance when they play their district games. Its no different with football playoffs. Just about every school gets to go. It bleeds mediocrity.
  7. Yes, knothole uses MLB rules other than a few substitution and lineup rules. Therefore, he had to throw the pitch; however, most knothole districts have a warning on the first balk with no consequences.
  8. This obviously wasn't a high school game, correct?
  9. Scenario 1: No such thing as tie goes to the runner in baseball. Runner is either out or safe. MLB umpires are told in their umpire school when in doubt the runner is out. Scenario 2: Was time called? If yes, then the home plate umpire has to put it back into play by usually pointing at the pitcher. One thing I see with a lot of umpires is they don't always put it back in play. Game should have been protested. Was it?
  10. At least someone knows what they're talking about!:ylsuper:
  11. Like your immense bias towards cov cath.:notworthy:
  12. Come on, Warning is the ace. Brueggman was absolutely hammered against Conner. No way he goes with him. I would agree he possibly could pitch Gerwe or Klein, but not Brueg, Shumate, Severson, Arnzen, Fagel, or any others.
  13. I believe you said 'start'. I can only go on what you write not on what you in your mind intended to write.
  14. I believe Fagel started the game against Boone. Arnzen got the win after closing last 3 inns.:ohbrother:
  15. Why because there's no CCH kids on it?
  16. Stayton's hit in the first was really an error. The ball glanced off the glove of the left fielder. I was sitting on first base side and it should have been caught. JMHO. Also, I believe BW had 4 hits not three. I was obviously rooting for BW. CCH returned the favor in the (not sure what inning but the second run) with an error on the catchers throw to 2nd on the steal. Fun game to watch.
  17. I heard BW is pitching Knauf. Kind of a homecoming!:ylsuper:
