Hey TOG, I thought you had to pitch four innings to get the win in high school. Similar to MLB having to pitch 5 of the 9. :confused:

Yeah, I talked to someone who tried out for U16 Colonels. They said there was about 30 kids.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the football penalty. Dixie is on top of the coaches poll for a reason. And to add, the penalty cost Dixie the game. It shows how bad some officiating crews are. Penalizing a team for a TV crew that Dixie had no control over.

I would have to believe Zerhusen is the ace from the games I've seen.

The problem with tarps is the water has to go somewhere and without proper drainage, the foul territories and outfields are a problem.

Your right that alot of teams have sophs playing varsity. Dixie, however, does not. Their whole JV team is all so phomores. Its a very deep class at Dixie.

I would agree with Arnzen, Fagel and Schneider. Maile is not an every day player. He can pitch pretty well and can hit. Mader is average IMO and I'm not sure about Rolf. If Reese, Stein, and Severson were playing with JV, I would agree they'd be pretty good. Dixie on the otherhand, has Garrett, Molony, Stansberry, Daria, Odom, McKinney, Wigger. They are at least six deep in pitching. I know when they first played, Arnzen (their best pitcher) came in and Molony hit a walk off HR to win.

Well, the same can be asked of your lineup. Your 2 was beat by your 5 and both threw their aces. And your 6 beat the 5. Your 1 was beat by your 8 in a seeding game. I guess we can argue pretty much anything if someone posts there top ten.:lol:

I would pick Dixies JV to be the best. They are extremely deep in pitching and well they beat CCH already this year.

Heard Bertke pitched. Also heard he gave up only 1 earned.
