It's too bad you didn't see the Dayton game. Lloyd played without their starting QB and still won easily. Yes it was Dayton, but not many teams could stay in a game without their QB, let alone dominate a game.

Brendon Gregory left the game with a dislocated knee, he is fine now. Seydrick Walker and Seth Chappie ran the ball great. Lloyd had 4 interceptions, 2 by Sean Russell, 1 by Scott Dunn and Zach Craddock. One thing I noticed last night was about 4 late hits from Dayton, that all went uncalled... They were very obviously 3 to 4 yards out of bounds... I remember reading something like that in a previous game thread.. Why does Dayton continue to take cheap shots?

Dayton has embarresed Lloyd for the past two years in a row. I don't see that happening again. Lloyd-38 Dayton-21

An instant classic! Should probably be on ESPN Ocho in a week or so. Haha

Newport could not have won this game. Lloyd was winning by as much as 21 points at one time. Newport only had the momentum for the last few minutes of the game, after the whole #66 incident. That sparked something for Newport. Newport did run the ball well though, and their defense made a few nice plays. But they could not have won this game.

Lloyd isn't as bad as 0-3 implies either.

"Sugar" Ray of Lloyd is really good. Not the best, but maybe he will be next year.
