Agreed. NCC may have won convincingly at the last meeting, but Lloyd definitly out hit them. Lloyd MUST stop the big plays. Any team can be beaten on any night. Or something like that. If Lloyd wants to win, they have to believe. I'm sure everyone has heard of David and Golliath... Upsets happen all the time. I sure hope NCC doesn't expect Lloyd to just lay down and give them the game, because that's not going to happen.

They also blew out Lloyd who blew out Newport. It's all just about how you want to look at it.

I think if you look at his stats and what he has done over his career, there is no one more deserving than him.

Seydrick Walker had 271 yards rushing on 20 carries. That's alright I guess. Dylan McGuire was 10 of 12 passing for 148 yards. And Seth Chappie and Michael O Brien rushed for 150 plus. Lloyd had 579 total yards of offense. Imagine if Lloyd didn't turn the ball over six times.

First off, the officiating tonight was terrible. For both teams. There were way too many turnovers. It was a good game overall though. Number 30 is a good ball player for CAL. Good luck next week against the Breds'.

The 1 and 4 games are just about pointless. But the 2 and 3 games are usually really good games. So I don't know if I agree with the whole "worst week" thing. Football is football, and I for one love the game. Regardless of the outcome. This game is about having fun. It's HS football people, not the NFL!

If it was earlier in the season, I would have picked Ashland. BUT, Dixie is playing great ball as of late. I think Dixie will win by two scores.

I don't like the A-11, and I think CAL will struggle in this game. Number 30 for CAL seems to be pretty good, but he's nothing that Lloyd hasn't already seen this year. I think because of Lloyd having a more difficult schedule this year, will be why Lloyd wins handily. Looking at how CAL played LCA and how Lloyd played LCA, I really think Lloyd will make it to round two. Lloyd-34 CAL-12

I think NCC will win by 12. I've seen both play, and I was more impressed with NCC.

Herthel had an offer to EKU but had it removed when he hurt his knee this year. But he will probably get his offer back by the end of the season. Brendon would have either walked on to EKU or went to somewhere local. This was Jakes first year of football, so he had a ton of room for improvement. But he's out for the season so his days of football are done. There are also 2 other players from Lloyd who are probably going to walk on at EKU. So make that 5 potential D-1 players this year. I never said they would all recieve scholarships, because they won't. Only one will.

Newport is playing really good. Don't be surprised if they upset DeSales. Good luck in the future Wildcats.

Brendon Gregory is 6'4 210 Lbs, and would have went D-1. Jake Kramer is 6'3 175 Lbs, and would have went D-1. Andrew Brinkman is 5'11 195 Lbs, and could have went D-2. Brinkman was the teams leading tackler before he broke his jaw. Roger Herthel will go D-1 and he's still not even 100 percent yet after his knee surgery. If both teams had no injuries, the result would be exactly the same, if not worse for Holmes. Holmes lost to a much smaller school, and you're trying to make excuses for it. BTW, last year Holmes had two special teams TD's which is why they won. Offensively and defensively, they were equal.
