If Bellevue's Rushing game gets going I don't see how Lloyd can stay in this one. That being said I'm sure both coaching staffs will be working on things they want to do in the play offs. I'll say Bellevue by two scores. Bellevue 31 Lloyd 21

VOR I generally agree with you on most of your post however I didn't take the comment on the rematch as being cocky but the one about dry conditions helping BW 3 fold because he thinks they have more superior athletes I did. I think this game was a war and anyone that was there should think these teams were evenly matched. I like fans that believe in their team but to spit in someones face about a game you barely won and very easily could have lost in my opinion just isn't good sportsmanship. You noticed I said could have lost not should have lost. BW found a way to win and that's what championship caliber teams do.

While I respect your opinion, I don't think we were at the same game. The conditions as it turned out did make the difference. Just not the way most would have thought. Bellevue fumbled 11 times turning it over 5 times when they were driving to score and BW had no answers other than for Bellevue to shoot them selfs in the foot. I don't think BW stops them if they don't stop them selfs on 5 different drives. I think Buckler matches Rigdon in speed and I think the overall athleticism has to go to Bellevue. Hats off to Beechwood they found a way to win a game where IMO they were not the clear cut best team. Be as cocky as you want but this game will be a battle if they get to meet again.

I have to question if certain people were looking into the future or if they were watching the game. I think that is enough said about the future because they obviously have no future as a coach. Hats off to BW. I thought the field conditions were in Bellevue favor however BW being the good organization they are found a way to hold on to the ball and prevail in the game. I have to question anyone who says this game would have been a blow out on a dry field. Be careful what you wish for. Bellevue fan wished for a wet field it came back to bite them in the. Well you know what I mean. Great game by BW they deserve all the credit for doing what it takes to win. My guess is coach Rash would just assume not see Bellevue in the Playoffs. Bellevue on the 13 yrd line getting read to score with 3 minutes left to take the lead, then the 10 th or 11 th fumble of the day. I don't think that happens on a dry day.

For Bellevue Nolan Rechtin and Tyler Howe are two very impressive players who will be very good in the next couple of years.

NKYFL player of the year for 2008, Tyler Durham now attends Campbell County High School and is doing a very good job playing JV and Varsity. The kid is about 6'3" and a stud in every aspect.

No doubt their has been some outstanding two way starters at Beechwood over the years. I was actually trying to give them a compliment about how many outstanding athletes they have had over the years. How this got off track I don't know. With that being said BW has been blessed with enough good players that they have been able to have less two way starters than most Class A High Schools. This is not a Bad thing. It would be nice if year in and year out Bellevue was blessed with these kind of numbers.

First of all I was merely following up on a BW fan's post. Secondly you still only named a hand full of players that went both ways in one year. BTW if you would have paid attention to my post I was actually paying BW a compliment on they players they seem to come up with year after year. In conclusion if one brother went to BW why didn't the other? If the academics were so good that one brother had to go there then why not the younger?

I may be a little high on the 6'2" but not the 250 lb's. The overall team size doesn't appear that big because most people focus on Buckler and some of the skilled players who are a little undersized. Don't tell anyone but the small guys have the hart of a lion I mean Tiger.:sssh::sssh:

Where is the inside information coming from? To go from war to a peaceful surrender before the battle starts? Did Buckler break his leg? Did Will's forget the plays? Maybe Hegge transfered?

Bellevue only larger than normal for them. They are not extremely large compared to your average Beechwood team. I would say they probably average 6'2" and maybe 250 lb across the front.

Beechwood has had the luxury of not having a lot of players go both ways in the past. But most normal class A schools don't. I think this has been a huge advantage late in the games for them in the past. Its not normal for a class A high school to have 20 outstanding athletes like Beechwood has been coming up with for the last 20 years. What is in the water out that way? I'm sure being the excellent coaching staff that they are Beechwood coaches have made sure that these players are ready for the extra work.

I'm a little confused. I keep hearing how young Beechwood is and then VOR said they have 8 seniors starting each way. Thats not young in most schools that is a very experienced team. No more excuses they should just run away with this game.

I think Dayton has the better D while Bishop has the better O. Should be a good game. I just know the Dayton players better and think they have been playing under their potential all year. Be careful what you wish for. You may not want either team when it's all said and done. Besides I think their past records earns the respect of everyone. As far as the love from the west, they can probably do without.
