Good observation,we have had a problem scoring all season.

I agree, after the last two nights we are not very good. We cannot use the excuse of the 2 week layoff or anything else.We do not play like Boyle teams of the past. We have no confidence and no direction. The only hope we have is that we host the district and that probably wont be enough.

I thought it was the hardest I had seen us play all year. Aumiller had a great first half(19 points) He only had 2 the second half. I think not having Glasscock really hurt in the second half when they shut Aumiller out.Just a question, I thought our depth was what was going to set us apart from our competition. I do not remember us subbing in the second half(I may be wrong).Garrard outscored us 14-6 in the fourth quarter.My observation was that we looked tired. If we play this hard the rest of the year we will make some noise.

Good win on the road! I will have more words of encouragement if we can beat Garrard. I am looking forward to this game.

No......He is a let down after I have been spoiled the last 3 or4 years. I love the move we made for Coach French but to me this is totally the opposite of that move...

I think Lincoln will win the 12th. They looked awesome against Boyle.

It is not like he was given the12th best team in the region.The coaches in the catspause picked us second. We are playing like the 12th best team right now. Again,I cannot blame the kids. They need the leadership and obviously he is clueless. We have made enough excuses and you and I will agree to disagree.

Was not trying to be harsh, just giving my opinion. He is very slow and looks uncomfortable on defense. Did you see the last second shot he took against Danville?To me he does not look like he is ready for varsity. Is he a sophomore? If so he should maybe get better on thej.v. We are very limited when he plays. I wish he would(the coach)play Bodner.

Why does he even play Givhan?

I just do not understand this team. We have everyone back from last season (except for Williams and Bottoms). We were picked 2nd or 3rd in most preseason polls going on what we had coming back. Aumiller was selectd as the second best player in the region behind Watts and we have 4 wins!I hear you purplepride about not looking back but looking forward does not look good. If you wont let me blame the new coach for poor passes, lack of intensity, and overall poor play,Who do I blame? It is hard to blame the kids. These are things that this coach must fix. I agree with strongarmmg about our guard play but I watched these same kids play last year and I thought they preformed better and would be that much better this year. They just looked confused and are playing without any confidence. If they play the way we expected(guards) we are a regional contender.Just a very frustrated rebel fan that thought we would have a great season.

Ugly game to watch but it was obvious that Lincoln is the much better team and better coached. Hard to believe that we have fallen this much considering how many players Lincoln lost last season and how many players we had coming back. Some Rebel fans need to just admit that we are a bad team and stop saying we are getting better. This was the 5th game I have been to and we are really adifferent team with this coach. They do not show any emotion other than Glasscock and we have no guard play. It was fun to watch McShara this football season but just as painful watching him trying on the basketball floor. This team will not play in the region.

Danville has just about everyone back it appears. Danville was up 10 with about two minutes to go and missed alot of free throws and took some questionable shots or they would have stretched it out.I thought we had a shot but they could not buy a basket.I agree with your comment purplepride about not playing the bench more. We have players sitting that may could help us if given achance last night.Just being honest neither team was very impressive last night and both will have a hard time beating Garrard or Lincoln and making it to the region.

Aumiller just got mad because they doubled down on him and no one could knock down a shot.What has happened to Goldsmith?He played 30 seconds against Shelby and did not play at all tonight.Very frustrating game to watch. Congrats to the Ads,they seemed to just want it more.Does anyone know how long a winning streak Boyle had on Danville?

That is exactly what I said at the game the other night. He was in foul trouble most of the night and was not a factor. He hit one big 3 late in the game. He has the looks to be a big time player but most years he would probably not be a varsity player for Shelby. Looks like a rebuilding year for them.

I was at game tonight and Shelby started an 8th grader. Both teams were very sloppy the first half but both played much better the second half. This did not appear to be one of Shelby Co. teams they have had the last 4 or 5 years. They were athletic but did not shoot the ball very well. They were very physical on the defensive end. Good win for Boyle, we are now 3-9 and by far our biggest win of the season.

Good win young Rebels! Probably the next group that can contend for the 12th region.
