PurplePride92
I was there for the first half and the Ads did a good job of not letting Aumiller get loose. They had no answer for Glasscock when he got the ball down low, but the Ads didn't let Aumiller get comfortable in the first half. Jacody Taylor is "the sophomore with a green light" and that looked true tonight. He has a sweet looking jumper and he has been very entertaining to watch since the first time I saw him play when he was in the 8th grade. I recall last year that Aumiller absolutely destroyed Danville last year so I was surprised to not see more of the same tonight in the game, but again, I left at halftime. That's about all I can tell you. I listened to some of it on the radio while in the car and I believe Corey Jones left the game with an ankle injury but I don't know if returned. I hope he his okay. My wife would like to see Rees MacShara play with more confidence and I look forward to the rematch because I already know I will be there for the whole game next time. My wife also said that ugly things were said back and forth from the student sections and at one point some one instructed the students to cease and desist. I am all for a rowdy student section, but not one that will be denigrating with their chants. I know last year at Danville I heard some crazy chants, but I also know we at BC can be guilty of the same thing as well. I'd like to see a little more class from both schools in the future from their students. We aren't raising a bunch of heathens.
Chosen_One
Danville has the athletes to compete in the district for sure, this district is just so up in the air though, so you absolutely never know.
rebel man
We just have no leadership. Aumiller just got mad because they doubled down on him and no one could knock down a shot. What has happened to Goldsmith? He played 30 seconds against Shelby and did not play at all tonight.Very frustrating game to watch. Congrats to the Ads,they seemed to just want it more.Does anyone know how long a winning streak Boyle had on Danville?
PurplePride92
It seems like coach is using less and less of the bench, and quite honestly, I am really not sure why. There are guys on the bench not playing who I think would help the team, but I am not the coach.
Commander 25
Does Danville have very many returning starters this season? Sounds like the shut down Aumiller.
rebel man
Danville has just about everyone back it appears. Danville was up 10 with about two minutes to go and missed alot of free throws and took some questionable shots or they would have stretched it out.I thought we had a shot but they could not buy a basket.I agree with your comment purplepride about not playing the bench more. We have players sitting that may could help us if given achance last night.Just being honest neither team was very impressive last night and both will have a hard time beating Garrard or Lincoln and making it to the region.
