PurplePride92 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Final per the KHSAA Riherd's scoreboard. I have no details. My youngest son had practice tonight and we went to the Burgin/Danville game after practice. I did have on my Boyle Rebels t-shirt underneath my BluegrassPreps.com Football Pullover so I was there in spirit. Big win for the Rebels. Big huge win, imo, for the Rebels. Now is the time build off of this win. Man, I wish I could have been there. Oh well, I will be in Lancaster tomorrow. Congrats to the Rebels!!!!!!! Let's carry this over into Lancaster!!!!!!!!!:dancingpa I hope rebelman has words of encouragment now.:D
strongarmmg Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Good win on the road for the Rebels. Played good defense the whole game. The guard play was very good tonight, very few turnovers, only took 2, 3 pointers. Southerland, Jones and Macshara combined for 21 points.(Southerland-9, Jones-8, Macshara-4). The post played well again. Aumiller-14, Glasscock-10, Tritapoe-5. Good Luck against the Loins!!
PurplePride92 Posted January 24, 2009 Author Posted January 24, 2009 Can a mod merge me into the other post???
LCPATS Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 This score doesn't surprise me a lot. WC and BC are very similar teams. Both have good front line players, and both teams weakness, IMO, is their guard play. Both teams struggle to handle pressure defense. Good win for the Rebs though...
rebel man Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Good win on the road! I will have more words of encouragement if we can beat Garrard. I am looking forward to this game.
Hardwood12th Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 This is a shocker especially since it was played on the road. Congratulations to the Rebels!
LCPATS Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Wayne has loss four straight, including a loss to Rockcastle??
gchs_uk9 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Wayne has loss four straight, including a loss to Rockcastle?? The first two losses, Clay County and Corbin, weren't that surprising. Corbin is a really good team and they Clay game was in Manchester. But the next two losses against Rockcastle and Boyle are surprising. I really thought Wayne was right at the top of the heap in the 12th Region.
