Both great kids but very different players. Hanna can flat out shoot, do not leave her alone! Probably somewhat difficult following Jamie, she is on my top 10 all time in N. KY. Ronnie continues to find ways to get the most out of his players. Hanna is just another example. Lady Breds probably will not sneak up on anyone, as most people that know b-ball realize they are very good! There style of play is fun to watch.

Highlands depth is very good, probably the best in the 9th. They have about 8-9 that can play and contribute. Injuries are a part of the game so I expected Highlands to do much better against Newport. Is ther a problem with the Birds?

BBHS #32. Played very well. Had many assists and steals. Fast & handles the ball well. I wonder if she will she get more varsity time.

I do not like to bang on refs, basketball is the hardest sport to officiate. There are not a lot of people who would want to put up with the abuse. The play is very fast at the high school level and a lot of times the refs are blocked out by the players. That being said I do not think the Highlands / Brossart game was very well officiated. The refs seemed overmatched with the speed and intensity of this game. There were a lot of inconsistencies in the way the game was called. A third offical would have been helpful in this game.

There is no way this is correct. I think the scores must be flip-folpped.

Great win for BBHS. Best game I have seen Armstrong play. Big scoring and great D on Lother. Rieger is a real player, great off of the drive and finishes strong. Code coached a great game, he made all the right moves. Brossart played with big energy. It was a fun game to be in the stands for.

Way to go Pandas. Very happy for Catie, coming off of concussion that kept her out most of last season. She is a great kid!

Can't say it any better, TAC is correct. If you went back 10 years and totaled all of the athletes it would be very close to a 50/50 split.

Lauren is a very fine player. She has worked very hard to improve her skills and it shows. I know they do not play this season but I would love to see a Tibbs vs. Moss match up. Tibbs size vs. Moss athleticsm.

I do not think coach Stamm would intentially run up any score up. He has certainly been on the other side of this in years past. I don't want to be overly critical, but some the the small public schools in the 9th are very weak. If the weak teams can't pass, shoot or dribble well, the scores can get lopsided even if a team is not trying to embarass the oponent.

St. Joe is usually a powerhouse in basketball. They have 26 total teams this year. St. Joe is technically considered a feeder school for Brossart , but just as many kids each year go to NCC. I know the rules have changed at the diocese. I think the kids are free to go to any school in the diocese without any penalty or extra charge for tuition.

8th at St. Mary and St. Joe are very strong. one of these teams will be Diocesan champ. Most of the best players (excepy Kiernan) on these two teams are going to Brossart.

Noelle is done for the season. She landed funny while trying to "jump stop" with all of her weight on one leg. ACL at least and Dr. thinks worse. Should have more info by tomorrow.

New Cath press way too much for Brossart to handle. Ncc plays four guards and a center. They have good players coming off of the bench. New cath will be hard to deal with this season! Good luck to them the rest of the way.

Boone has great scoring balance and of course are well coached. Moss is big, quick, talented and left handed. She was very impressive versus Brossart. Is she the best player in N. KY? I do not know who is better.

exciting game. Brossart seniors (Uthe, Sanker & Bezold) hit three consecutive 3's in the fourth to win the game. Peters girl from Campbell is a force. Had 19 and made all of her free throws. She has a nice touch around the basket and can move outside and hit some shots.

Best 8th grade post player I have seen in several years is Nicole Kiernan. She plays at St. Joe in Cold Spring. She is big, fast and strong. Looks like she is going to NCC. She will help them right away.

I thought it was a great game to watch. Packed stands and great atmosphere. I knew Brossart would play great D, but I was impressed with CC ball pressure and effort. Brossart's style works for them and they will have a lot of success this season.

This is easily one of Villa's best teams ever. Well balanced scoring, great D and the ability to make threes. Villa should be ranked a lot higher in N. KY.

Brossart girls by 10. Brossat has good depth, should come into play in second half.

Tibbs is the real deal. I have seen her play many times. Dropped 33 on Highlands last year. Good soft hands, keeps the ball high and passes well. She will be a d1 player IMO.

Great 1-2 punch Janszen and Gamm. St. Henry will need another scorer to emerge for them to beat some of the top teams. Best of luck Lady Cru!

Brossart has great depth. 8 or 9 that can contribute. Big test coming up vs Boone. Hopefully they can keep is somewhat close. Boone is loaded again.
