Did Brossart shut down Brady Jolley?

Mustang told me to enjoy my hum-drum regular season game. How much more hum-drum could this one have been. All this game needed was for Coach Schlarman to be there blessing his disciples!!

Coach S was in fact in attendance, along with his wife and new baby boy. Actually more of a war than a "hum-drum affair", but doesn't sound like you're a fan of defensive basketball??

 

Great atmosphere, great student sections and another packed house, playoff type environment!! VERY physical game, with tons of fouls on both sides. Reiger the difference in the game, along with a better all-around effort by BB's supporting cast. Brossart looked a little deeper than Campbell tonite, and got better contribution down the line than the Camels.

I have no problem with defensive basketball, and with the Godfather of the slow down game in the stands that makes it even better!!

 

Sounds like it was a good one, I just hate seeing teams slow down when they have the ability to move the ball up and down the floor at a quicker pace. I have seen both teams in game situations that this style has cost them the "W"

 

But that is only opinion, and we all know opinions and a $1.05 will get you coffee at most places the day after the game.

I really didn't feel like the teams were slowing it down as much as the 10th Region refs just letting alot of the very physical play on defense go without calling fouls. Especially out front that made it difficult to get into your offence. Those hand checks and chest bumps are fouls in the 9th Region, and they were not called until the 4th quarter tonight. Great croud, BB had to have the entire school there. Felt like the old days.

In order for Brossart to be succesful, they need to play a defensive game. Look for more scores like this down the road.
