St. Henry 54 Assumption 47

Lady Crusaders get a nice win to tipoff the season.

Good win for the Lady Cru indeed. Abby Janzen is going to be fun to watch this season. Let's hope Coach Coburn doesn't rush the young ones and allow them to mature naturally. The Cru could be fun to watch for the next several years.

Great 1-2 punch Janszen and Gamm. St. Henry will need another scorer to emerge for them to beat some of the top teams. Best of luck Lady Cru!

St Henry may be one the more underrated teams in the pre season polls. Good luck in this new season.

There are a few candidates who could emerge as another consistent threat. It will be interesting to see if any of them seize the opportunity and step forward. The Cru is talented, but very inexperienced at this point. It will be fun to see how far they're able to progress by season's end. If they give consistent effort like they gave against Assumption, it should be another successful season.
