I'm not real familiar with Newport Central Catholic, but it looks like they are having a really solid season. Great job down in Lexington.

I know they are the heavy favorite to win the A in the 9th region and one of if not the favorite for the Class A state.

They have played a very tough schedule so far and are playing very well. Some people asked at the beginning of the year where they were going to get there scoring from. But about everyone on the team has provided so far. They should be able to go very far in the class A and possibly win the 9th.

I don't think there's anything quiet about beating what is a very good North Hardin team by 26, regardless of where it occurs.

Wins over top 20 teams of North Hardin, Montgomery County, and Sacred Heart this is a very good team. Also they lost to Boone County by 6 that they were in the entire way and lost to Manual by 6, so they are right there and can play with anyone.

What year is Thiem? She seems to be coming on strong to compliment the Seniors.
