Sanker looked tonight vs. Dixie. Campbell vs Brossart will be a good matchup in the district. I give campbell a slight edge even though brossart won the earlier game this season

First round of the girls 7th and 8th Diocesan Tournament was held at St. Joe Cold Spring. We went to that since no high school ball. Some good looking younger players are coming up for NCC, Brossart, Notre Dame and St. Henry.

The more I read and hear on this my old post stands. I have been an administrator and coach for 20 years, there is no rationalization or excuse for this, sorry Bulldog, you are digging yourself a big hole here.

IMO O'Hara is the best and most consistent I have seen. Curt Jones also does a nice job.

Yes. Yes. Yes. We are too hard on officials. Basketball is the hardest of all sports to officiate. I personally have been guilty of being too critical in games I have coached. I have also seen some pretty blatant stuff from some of the officials doing small schools in the 10th. I have seen some things that I thought were outright cheating for a specific team. This does not happen very often, but I do believe it happens.

Great kid. I have seen her play at least a dozen times. She seems to take a lot of hard fouls and I have never seen her loose her cool. I wish her much success!

Most basketball fans know what kind of player Janszen is. She seems to get better each week. I am looking forward to seeing St. Henry play again. I think they are the type of team that can beat some top flight programs. Good point guard, good post player and they play good D.

Agreed. HHS subs (except for Towles & Allen) are almost as good as the starters so it was hard to keep this game from getting out of control. HHS played Brossart a few weeks ago and it could have be much worse than the final score. HHS played their subs for almost three full quarters. Coach Richey showed a great deal of class.

Wow. I can't imagine anyone up here (9th or 10th) doing something like this. Public opioion would be brutal and the basketball community would be up in arms! I really want to hear the story on this.

IMO In girls basketball high quaility players have a bigger impact than boys. (There are just fewer of them.) If a girls team looses two good players to injury or graduation they can have a huge fall off in success. This is especially true of smaller programs.

deeper probably a bad choice of words. Ryle is a fine team with a lot of depth, I like NCC first 5 and up tempo style. Should be a great game.

NCC by 5. great on ball pressure and full court press. IMO NCC is deeper.

If Sanker comes back Brossart can win some games. It will be very tuff if she cannot come back. She is easily their best and most consistent player. She is also the best on ball defender. Noelle Reinhart would have been a big contributor this season. Out with ACL since game # 4.

Ware is easily their best and most experienced player. Out for the season with ankle reconstruction. Best of luck to Ms. Ware.

Go Ronnie and and The Lady Breds! We wish we could attend. I know almost every girl on the team and we will be roooting for them. Ronnie is blessed with a great group of hard working players and the players are blessed with a great coach. This combination has produced at lot of success and will produce even more success in the future!

e brown, what happen to Sydney and when will she be back? She was having a great season. We have lost two of our best players and it is killing us. We hope that Syd is able to come back soon.
