Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes from some fans who got whipped night in and night out by a team with nobody bigger than 5'6". Let it go...RC is the 16th region champ and deserved it. They also beat some of the best in the state (Scott Co, Pike Central, Mason) and Mason wore Ashland out. As far as zone, that's stupid. With nobody bigger than 5'6" post entry would have been EASY. And, it's 10x harder to rebound out of a zone. You don't know 1/2 of what you think you do 85.

State tourny hasn't been changed. Rowan never had to play at 8 am. 16th region was always at 1:30. Games start Wednesday as planned.

First of all, Coach Daniels has taken a leave of absence!!!! If Breeden is interested then have him to send in a resume like everyone else will do. For someone who didn't want to talk about this subject the first night it came out you sure are giving your opinion now.

You know that is quite rude coming from an adult. I know for a fact Rowan Co. played freshman and sophomores almost the whole 2nd half. I know Boyd Co. had several young players on the floor. Why leave your starters in and get someone hurt when your playing for a regional title. I am sure had this been a Carter Co. team it would have been well worth the admission. I would think you would show a little class when talking about a bunch of girls who have worked their tails off to get where they are. Thank goodness for Big Bill.

It is March Madness lets remember.....anything can happen!!! Just look at Bath/Raceland girls from last night...Bath the major underdog almost caused the upset.

They are a GREAT group of girls...but watch the games or review the ones Coach Tackett got a techinal and had to put on his seatbelt. One was Clark County when they lost. The girls struggle without their leadership and guidance.

Congrats to Coach Scott Tackett from Rowan County on winning the 61st District as a 1st year "Interim" coach. Can't help but think of Bobby Knight from time to time while watching him coach.

Amber Riddle #20 at Rowan County. If I'm not mistaken she is 11 homeruns away from breaking the record for most homeruns. She is only a junior. She missed the most in 1 season last year by 1. She is an animal. She has alot of colleges looking at her.
