Were not mentally ready to play, gave up too many easy baskets, 66 pts to GRC after they only scored 57 against West Carter. GRC is a good team, but RC wasn't mentally ready to play and it showed when they went up 15 and lost focus. RELAX!!! Not a knock agaginst GRC at all. More of an indictment on the Lady Vikes effort!

Heard it at the Prime Time Classic tonight, Leah Sargent has quit the Lady Raiders. Her father said she wasn't enjoying it anymore. Big time loss for Hager's bunch.

Rowan beats Apollo 54-40. Rowan's pressure and guard play too much for Apollo. Martin 23, Brockman 16. Not much from Barr and Spurlock, and the Lady Vikes still won. Good win.

Not really...nobody underestimated them. A good, big, physical team. If their big people are allowed to play like that, they'll be a tuff game for anybody.

The score of the Rowan county game was 69-50. Spurlock couldn't play due to illness and Martin went out early in the 2nd quarter (ended up with 6 stitches)! 43-16 in the 2nd half. Riddle stepped up to take charge, led the team with 16 points. Kissinger played a great game with 13 points and 4 steals. Brockman had 12 points and 5 steals. Howard had 10 points. Kiser and Hardin played their best game. Great job ladies!!!

Sargent did not play, but Spurlock for Rowan was on the bench in foul trouble more than she was on the floor.

Obviously, no one has paid them any attention. Cass Spurlock, Nicole Barr, and Katie Martin are playing top notch!! As well as the rest of the team. I just wanted to give Rowan County some credit.

Yes, I was at the game-ROWAN was just that good! They played East's pace the 1st half, but came out in the 2nd and played some LADY VIKING BASKETBALL!!
