:thumb: I think so as well, any team that loses it's top 8 (I think) players to graduation is going to suffer some the next season.

Russell will be fine, they have some very good and very young kids that will mature and get better with each game, fans just have to be patient in a situation like this - all schools/teams go through it at one time or another.

All of the kids stepped up today because Ferguson did not play due to an ankle injury.

 

I believe Maybery had 25 and Nathan Taylor (named Player of the Game) 12.

I think that Kyle Skaggs was in double figures also (11)?

Make that 10 of their top 12, including two kids that had been counted on to start this year. They moved before the season started. (Seth Harvey and Cameron (Olgibie ?) Cameron played this summer and did very well and the Harvenator was penciled in at center. It will take some time to rebuild after losing so much from the region champs of 06 and the best team in the region last year. Russell was in excellent position last year to repeat as Regional Champs until Vanhoose went down with his knee injury.

 

This year's young inexperienced Devils are an absolute pleasure to be with. They are truely a great bunch of kids and very deserving of your support.

No offense, but South Floyd must be pretty bad.

South Floyd was terrible last season (4-24), and appear to be worse this season (0-10)...

South Floyd is also an inexperienced team. But, for the young Devils to take this step without Ferguson was certainly a plus.:fire:

 

The Devils play Saturday @ 3:45 and Jacob Ferguson is doubtful for this game also.

You certainly are and like has been said plenty of times before in different situations at other places and to all that want Dodd out......."Be Careful What You Wish For" :sssh:.

Trust me Red Devil fans, you could do much worse..

We (Raceland) are lucky in that Coach Floyd s a very good coach and a class act as well.
