I thought the Pattie would this tourny.

Maybe West Carter was underestimated????

I would say the 2 best teams in the tourney (West and LaRue) are playing tommorrow. Havent seen LaRue County play, but West is easily better than any other team in this tournament. Again sloppy ballhandling for the Comets made this closer than it should have been. West was led in scoring by Barker and Oney. Barker had around 27 points, 7 or 8 rebounds, Oney had 12. One kid for St. Pat had quite a few as well. Winner of tommorrows game should take the tournament. As for a bad loss for the patties, how so when they got beat by a better team. West isn't really that bad, they just got a full strength, and a sorting out what is now about a 10 or 11 man rotation. Still a top 7 team in the 16th easily, could crack the top 5 by seasons end.

Chris Owens went out early in the 4th with a possible concussion. He had also injured his shooting wrist mid way through the 3rd but kept playing. I don't know his status for tomorrow's game. He is one of the hardest workers and hustler I have ever seen and I hope he gets well soon.

 

St. Pat played hard, but it wasn't enough to pull this out.

Good win for West Carter...a tough team that seems to play hard all the time.

I forgot to ask how that kid was. It was a scary moment. Hopefully, he's alright. Good luck to St. Pat on the rest of the season, they play very hard and deserve to have an excellent season.

You take out the Elliott Co loss, West's only other loss on the year was the first game to Boyd by 3.

 

West looks to have a pretty good team and congrats to them on a solid W.

 

Tough loss for St Pat and I hope Owens is okay.
