What coaches do you find fun to watch during and even after a game? How they work their team to perform to their best and play with heart.

My favorite coach to watch and talk to is Coach Doyle for the Deming Lady-devils, he coaches with emotion and heart just like how he gets his players into a game, great man to talk to and just cares about the kids.

I don't know how he keeps from loosing his voice. :ylsuper:

Nell Fookes - Boone County. I know alot of people don't like her but she is fun to watch during the game and actually has a sense of humor off the court.

Well if you like stomping feet, pulling on players jersy's and some profanity thrown in - then you'll get a good show from her because you can count on it every game.

She demands for protection. Nothing wrong with that. Great Coach. Number's prove it.

Sounds like an axe to grind??

Bert Richey. The previous coach at Grant County. Very funny. He yelled at a player to go steal the ball from another player one time...the player was a teammate! I don't know what would have happened if she had actually done it...how would you stat that?? A turnover or a steal??? :jump:

He can be seen yelling some similar one-liners at Highlands games supporting the coach, his wife Jaime, from the stands.

Coaches like Fookes, Doyle & Gilley. Even Richey. All have very passionate styles to their coaching...fans seem to either love 'em or hate 'em, no in between, but very fun to watch!

I have gotten to see a lot of Northern Kentucky this year. Grant Brannen at NCC can become very animated as well as Coach Brad Carr from Scott.

Nell Fookes at Boone County and Coach Aaron Stamm from Ludlow without question on the girls side of things.

The Kids, the kids, the kids!

Coaches get their due, right and wrong, let the kids have the spotlight for the short amount of time that they're all there. That's what I go to watch.

It go's fast, this season sure seems like it did.

I love to hear Coach Gilley- he cracks me up and says it like it is!

:thumb:I would agree with your assessment of both Coach Fookes and Coach Stamm. A veteran legend and a young rising star coach who's stock continues to be on the rise.
